I haven't been on the forums for a while, so I'm a little bit rusty. How come whenever I get a post deleted, I don't get a notice for it anymore. I know that when you get a post deleted, some of them gets deleted without notifications. But ever since I've reached the 400 posts mark, any of the post that gets deleted would not get a notice, and I wouldn't know about it until I check my post history once in a while. Does anyone know why they don't send me any more notifications? Tnx for the help! :D

Generally you should get a notice when posts are deleted, if it is in a high traffic area an AK might not send a notice due to too many needing them. Also almost every forum has an auto-delete function for old threads so that could be where posts are going.

There are several explanations.

One is... posts could be subject to an autopurge that just happens, through nothing you did wrong. Just forum maintenance.

Two is... if your post is found among a large number of deleted posts, it was the victim of a mass deletion. Usually when that happens, a post is made in the thread itself by forum staff to explain what went on. You will usually only get a personal PM after that if your post... was really bad.

Three is... well, the person who deleted it forgot, which isn't an excuse, but it does happen. I know I've fallen asleep at my computer a couple of times in the middle of stuff late at night, wake up and not know what exactly I was in the middle of... embarrassing to say the least.

If you had something go missing and not receive a notice, it most likely was one of the three above things. It has nothing to do with post count, favouritism or laziness. Humans man the forums (contrary to popular belief!) and we slip once in a while. At least you can rest assured that your missing posts didn't get you in trouble!

I am sure your post got deleted because of somehow Inappropriate content that is not permitted on the forums, includes.

An AK or Higher ranked can delete messages without warning because they know the mistake is common and they know that you yourself know the reason of your post deletion.
Not a Glitch/Bug, it is more of intentional.

Statement also taken from my current answer in the same issue thread.
