 Well with the coming of the new bot I just want to see who said forget this and didn't switch to a 4 or 5 focus build.

Im too broke to retrain but I'm no longer on my gear that gives mega tech so 4/5 focus does not work for my caster gear

I need to switch that class that is not overpowered... wait, all classes are overpowered right now because all can either exploit the Robot or Strength. Major crisis, maybe I should just refrain from playing for a while?!

All classes? Alright...but above the others, there stands the "cyber hunters".

I am...on all most of my alts. But if I didn't, it would be because I quit this game already.

Im staying with my tank build, but i am also not playing ED till the bot gets nerfed :p

Ok please if didn't remember let me say this the Admins are the ones that have been trying to promote focus builds for the longest. This new bot is just a more better reason to make a focus build. Besides the only reason people are complaining is because they are losing fights when they are either normally winning, or they don't like the idea of a focus build beating the build they used for so long.

But on another note since I first started playing epic duel I always went for the focus build since it seemed the most balanced. For the longest time when I was playing I would almost always get my butt kicked by the tanks build, or the ever so popular strength build which is used mostly by blood mages.

So I am for one glad that this bot is here since it will help bring back the focus build. Also as for the bot being overpowered remember like the delta vault it takes time for it's power to build before it can be really devastating. So all you need to do is finish the person off before they can use the bot's power.

There was once a time when focus builds got you killed. *Old Grandpa sitting around a fire*
There was also a time when CH wasn't OP, and was fun to beat people with, because they said it could not be done.

I am usin' a 5 focus build, since March-April. I used to see a lot of str abusers before :/ But now... Not so much

I honestly dont want to play if im forced to use a focus build to even stand a chance,im going to need to find a new past time , this honestly isnt fun anymore.

^This. Even with using a focus build, there's no control over the game. There's no skill anymore. It's just whoever can stall the longest and use the infernal android the most often :/ The 60+ damage from a single attack is just ridiculous.

Friend18 There serveral attacks that can do 60+ damage in the game not just this bot's special. Whenever I was a merc and I use my bunker and Surigical strike (While I wouldn't always get it) I could inflict 60+ damage with these. Heck when I crit with the surgical I sometimes got 70+ and this was without using the aid of Malf.

There is also the masscare skill from bounty and cyber hunters that can do 60+ damage to an opponent as well as the tech and blood mages supercharge (Also Bloodmages plasma cannon)

I have seen/done these before, and I never heard people complain about it when those hits gained 60+ damage or more. Heck not that I think about it deadly aim can do this to close or even this much damage as well if the right equipment is used or it crits.

Never had Bunker hit more than 45 on me, surgical you relied on a crit, and all other skills you mentioned use energy while this bot does not, that is the key difference. Also its extremely rare to see surgical/mass/supercharge be used more than once a fight while the bot is being used every 3 turns.

 @Cookielord12 Amen to that. The Reqs on some F2P gear almost force you into a high focus build

There's no real skill in the game anymore. The bot allows "bad" builds (where the points are spread out all over the place etc.) with 5 focus to win. And if they crit even once (which is usually rare), it can determine whether they win or not. There's no longer a "formula" or strategy for winning. When you can only win 50% of the time, even when making the best possible moves, something is really wrong :/

And with surgicial strike and bunker, a simple atom smasher/emp would have removed the problem. Or a health booster etc. PLUS, you would only encounter that 2-3 times per game. With the new bot, like Mr. Black OP said, it can be used every three turns. That's completely unfair. It's essentially me racing against the clock to kill the player, while the other player just has to boost and stall.

and also I find funny how only tech mages are more OP with these new bots then CH for one they have tech sheild that gives tech. what does CH have mages have malf just like CH and they got got matrix just like us.

Friend18 while I can agree with you on the first part it is also the same reason why the admins started nerfing classes. Remember when blood mage lost the beserker move? It was because people were using the strength builds, and no matter what build was used 90% of the time you were killed in a two hit match (Most use this so they could get to the top of the leader boards on 1 vs 1)

Also I can't count how many times Ch have been nerfed as well because they were dominating the matches. I remember when static gave you near half of the energy you lost back, but then they kept tanking it up, and as a result they got nerfed.

Oh and let's not forget how the Admins did away with caster tech mages by making the plasma rain powered by dex instead of tech.

All of these nerfs for the sake of balance and yet no matter what there will never be any balance in this game. Also let's face it "most" not all players don't care about using different builds to win. They want the build that will almost grantee them victory and when they see what it is I say it again most not all will turn to that class to grantee themselves that because it is human nature to want to win and not lose.

Also with the energy remove thing, remember atom smasher isn't 100% only the EMP is and also even if I was Emp'ed if I you remember well I had other options I could use which I did use against you with this build. When I created my merc build I added focus to it so I could in fact have attacks that do decent damage to any class were as other people who used this build completely relied on these big moves which weren't always granteed.

I don't mind the nerfs. I change my build every two weeks or so because it's always fun using different builds. I found the game fairly balanced a few weeks before. But, at this point, the game just isn't fun anymore. The bot has no energy cost and can be used multiple times throughout the game.

The berserker builds and caster builds were manageable. At least there was a way to win. But with the new bot, it's either use the bot or lose.
