Not supported. Sorry but chances of getting a crits aren't as high as you think they are unless you have one of those moves that gives you a higher chance for a crit. Also you may think it is too strong but it also depends on the build of the person using the item.

negative~ I pretty much need those crits to survive with my build :/ you know how hard it is to puncture through a CH resistance wall ? pretty dang hard..
and crits do NOT come easy unless the persons really lucky or like mother1 said you use a move that increases chance
plasma cannon
bunker buster
and cheap shot ( the deadliest imo due to dmg being your weapons damage and not a set number )
and all three of those can fail miserably leaving you wide open to a counterattack..
and in two cases any form of energy drain ( emp/ atom smasher/ and tm staff move.. )
and in one case the attack can be blocked

I think it doesn't need a nerf.. The point of massive strike is to have more damage dealt. And it's not that much difference.
