A simple example: Let's say that every week we find the most underpowered class in the game, and buff its damage by 1. Every week, there will ALWAYS be a class that is more underpowered than the rest. Eventually, every class will simply one-shot the other. Whoever goes first instantly wins. Hardly fun. Obviously this isn't a perfect example, but hopefully you get the point. I understand, nerfs feel bad. It's FUN to feel strong, and nerfs make you feel less strong, so they're less fun. But for the health of the game they are absolutely necessary.
