Game Update v0.6.06

Clear your Cache and Reload: 5 New characters for you to find and capture!

  • Crypt Rogue
  • Shadow Priest
  • ???
  • ???
  • ???

    Other Updates:

  • Taurus's cards have been revamped and it's Legendary form will be purchasable in the Labyrinth Shop!
  • Dungeon encounters should favor the newer characters so you're not fighting the same monsters you'd find outside the dungeons.
  • Warlic is continuing to optimize the game and fix bugs. You won't need to re-enter your login info after every server restart.


    Coming Soon!

  • Unlockable Content: Hoping for next week we can limit shops based on 2 things, item prerequesites, Llifetime soul gems, and number of characters you currently have. ( This will allow Grand Quests! )
  • Sell back functoinality for soulgem items and gold items and inventory item functionality which will allow bigger quest systems,
  • Card Customization... so, so very close...
  • Update on Oversoul game reviews coming this weekend.
  • Petrify Special is being fixed

    If anyone is wondering where these chars are:
    All the new zards: At the south east fortress in the central map
    Crypt Rogue: Undead dungeon(random spawn)
    Shadow Priest: Undead dungeon(random spawn)

    i love the rogue *fan girl scream* if i wasnt trying to level up from the top of my character list to the bottem i would work on the rogue he just looks so nice ._.
    though im not thrilled about him haveing so many five damage cards, i was expecting a lot of 2s and differnt kinds of DoTs and possably def cards as an act to a classic rogues evasion possabitlys .-.

    im not thrilled about the custem decks that will come about soon, i am worryed a lot of imbalanced issues will go arigh in the game such as too much of a single aspect resulting in a poor pvp match, i mean i wouldnt mind seeing a card vender, but i think thier should be a limit for what kind of cards go in a deck so you dont involuntary put too much or too little of something in a deck

    For any Dev looking in, here's some Card Customization limits us Forumites have come up with so far:

    1) All decks must have a minimum of 5 Attack cards
    2) You can't have more than 3 of the same Special card (like Poison, Mark of Death, Shatter, etc.)
    3) Some cards should be Legendary exclusive or limited to specific characters, like Retribution, Greater Heal, and Shadowfire, and even then they can't have more than 2 in a deck
    4) A Character's rank should have some effect on which cards they can add to their deck; We don't want a level 1 Blood Void to be able to use Void Reflection

    And finally, one of my suggestions:
    There should be a system of costs for adding cards. For example, in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, you had a limited number of Card Points (which increase as you leveled up). Each card (attack, shield, or special) had an assigned CP cost. That way, the number of CP you had limits both how many cards you can add to your deck, and which cards you do choose to add. This forced players to choose their deck style - do they sacrifice their strong attacks for more spells, or focus on defence?
    If there is a system in place already, ignore me!

    Since currently, the only draw for catching super rare characters like Cosoma is their excellent default decks, we are worried that Card Customization could break the game. Since Stats isn't out yet, these decks are the only things that separate one Shadow character from another Shadow character, etc.
