Ohmygoodness, what a delightful bunch of questions your stanzas have sparked in my mind. Mayhaps you'll answer a few or so, or maybe not (for where then would be the intrigue, no?), but I shall ruminate upon them here nonetheless. -What a lovely title to roll across the tongue! Is this a language such as Norsk, or one of your own making? And what meanings do the slightly different forms possess? -If "avanė" means "gods," does that make your speaker a god himself? -Love has brought him to Earth, and Evil necessitating his return; was his fault simply in abandoning the heavens? -Is the speaker's war of a personal nature, or perhaps a conflict he was seeking to flee by falling to Earth? -Will there ever be a way for him to return, when he clearly longs to do so? Eyeing the date upon your post, I don't know how likely it is that you've continued writing along this train of thought. Nevertheless, my hopes are that you delve once more into this imagining somewhere down the winding path; consider me thoroughly snared by curiosity. ^ u^
