sometimes skipping a turn is needed for a strategy to work so why not have a button that skips your turn instead of having to wait for it to end?

Why? Well for this main reason, You might accidentally click and miss your shot :(
And 15 seconds isn't really a long time... You can just wait out the 15 seconds.

But Mr. Clean xd has a point.

If they put it where normally the Exit button of 2vs2 is, that would be great.
That way, you cant misclick on it, and it should be a option

A good way for this to work would be:
Once you click it, you will need to click another button again to confirm.

By the way, back in Beta, I think there was a button to leave the battle. Can't remember much but I think there was.

Yes, back then there was! That got removed due to people leaving on purpose to give their friends/themselves free experience and credits!
