A battle mode can really handle just 4 players at a time before bad lag attacks, right? So, to get the loophole in this performance issue, is an idea for a new battle mode idea. Gobs battle mode. In a gobs match, 5+ players can be involved in a battle, but if it is... gobs 1V1: only 2 players can be battling at a time gobs 2V2: only 4 players can be battling at a time. How a gobs battle works, is that, similar to Pokemon, only 1 or 2 players on a team are in battle, and the rest of the team is on reserve... waiting to be called to battle. Players on reserve are only called to battle once a battling teamate dies and therefore needs a replacement. These will not be unique battle modes. These will be randomly generated matches in 1V1 and 2V2, similar to how Juggernaut works for Juggernaut contestants. The battle rewards are proportional to the number of players, so gobs battles will have naturally higher rewards. Depending on the number of players, gobs wins can also be worth 2 or more wins on the player record... and still only count as 1 loss if the players do lose. This format can be used to produce faction VS faction.
