With the new update the Mercs will be able to spam defenses on their equipment, so for at least the first 30 levels they will be untouchable with strength and tech builds.

Also this may allow blood mages to uber spam strength even more than now.... can't wait to see how that works out.

Basically I'm trying to point out that stat spamming is going to be worse than ever with Omega and I suggest giving focus damage increase back, or risk losing that type of build entirely.

Why you say Mercenaries are going to spam defenses, you mean tact merc? or both?

Focus damage increase...*shudders*. With focus damage increase, each attack that actually connects gives blood lust classes 1 more HP (or 2, depending on the damage and level of blood lust). Focus damage would also pretty much negate hybrid armor entirely. I doubt mercs are going to take over omega anyways. You can spam stats in other classes, too... let me think here:

Merc/TLM: Tech spamming on caster and focus builds
BH: Strength Spamming
CH: Superdex spamming for insane capped block chance, as well as an emp to neutralize other skills like plasma bolt
BM: Strength spamming
TM: Support/Tech spamming for casters and supp builds. Think about it: Plasma bolt's scaling is way too high. People could stack INSANE amounts of tech (in the ranges of 150+) from this, have defense matrix, and a level 1 plasma would do the same as a level 8 plasma on a current caster build. Tech abuse for any class could also greatly increase infernal bot's damage overall.

From this little explanation, I think that all classes will have their own abusive stats and builds, and it still ends up standing at as balanced a rate as it currently is now.

I am sure the Devs wont let us Spam stats :P
