As we have all heard, people who spent varium enhancing are legible to claiming a "prize" of some sort. But what is this prize going to be?
500rating - too low, 1000-2500 rating - still a little low.. To be honest it should be to however much you spent..

What are your views on this?

 As per Terms and Conditions, every player who has registered in any of the AE Games agreed to them. Due to the raise of 'refund' threads caused by change in enhancements, people are "demanding" their money back if the new system will not benefit them.

It can not be done! In section 5, titled "Payment Obligations", it clearly states:

quote:

Nothing in this Agreement places a duty on Company to ever reimburse any player by providing experience credit for any experience lost for any reason. Company will never reimburse or be obligated to reimburse players for any experience loss in a monetary manner, such as but not limited to monetary reimbursement or monetary credit.


Refunds are only given in the first 30 days only if it's deemed necessary such as unauthorised payment, but it does not include your own gaming experience - whether you enjoy the game or not -, you are not eglible for any sort of refund.

Yes, but have you noticed in Titan's post he says something about the people who purchased enhancements will receive something? No, I guess you didn't please read and research more carefully next time.

 Good for you, I gave you link to Ev's post to clarify on the rule and mentioned compensation. Reward will be what it will be, it's not up for discussion really since some players want to claim full refund of Varium, some are happy that there will be reward of some sort for enhancing before the new system.

OP

You should be happy that those of us who have enhanced our weapons are getting something period. The staff didn't have to give us anything since as trans has posted they don't have to give any refunds for anything since we agreed to their terms when we started playing this game.

 @J.U.S.T.I.C.E: Seriously? You're using something that doesn't even have legal backup to fight against a legal agreement every artix player agreed to. As mother said, you should actually feel lucky, considering I lost over 5k varium in sellbacks before varium sellback came, and I can guarantee many other players lost far more than that, but no one was ever compensated.

Omg, if i get a full refund...without the enhancements, that'd be like 14000 var already.
Sure feel lucky already...don't see what to complain about... :D

No, I did suffer.. In total I lost over 25k var.. I'm just saying a "Thank you" to the ED staff for doing something like this.. for example, a bike or something.. Not an actual refund

Well, i will be happy with everything.
Those enchancements already gave me lots of wins, and thats were i payed for.

And when you actually get something extra back for it you may never complain about it.
I hope a achievement or a bike.

If we are getting a compensation, I hope it is a refund of varium ^^. I'd be able to get back on track in varium! :D

While it does say no refunds Most of us did pay a large sum of varuim to pay for enchanments and I recently enchanced two weaponds before I know of Omega and I don't think that's justifed I do expect some sort of refund even though it's against rules, it's sorta disrecpectful to the players who paid much for enchanments and the staff are just taking them away.

removing enhancements completely is the reward itself

enhancements is not something optional, its a need. Paying to use the item you already payed is not logical. Most ppl's inventory is full of items that they cant even use because of enhancements.



In my opinion, developers should remove enhancements(adding extra stats to item).

The Omega Version of Enhancement should be editing the stats of the item already have. For example an item with +10 str +6 dex +4 tech, so to change the stats of the item you need to use credit or varium.

Developers can make the items fully enhanced, fully customizable in Omega. So there is no need to refund or give reward.

This way customizing the item will be optional not a need.

 @Turkish: I agree, I've been spending triple the amount of varium I did in beta just to stay alive because enhancements were extremely spendy. A refund itself would be nice, but I'm hoping the compensation isn't a bike. Everyone already has enough of those >.>

Enchanmets being removed can really be good though because of those abusive stats. A TLM with 32-36 defense+5+1+10 was pretty annoying not to mention I wasn'y using a STR build so I was doing pretty much 3's then a 25 damage rage. And Maybe STR builds won't be as bad too. Wait are enchanmnets being removed or just made into a differen tsystem I've a little confused on that.

 99% there will be NO REFAUND, just because it make no sence 4 many reason........ Face it guys. Read turkish post, thats probably what is gonna happen

I honestly don't see what everybody is complaining about, we all bought varium for our own reason, I didn't know we were getting a reward untel now & honestly I'm happy I bought "Enhancement's" they were a great Idea, they helped us all in the heat of battle, everyone should be greatful, not greedy.

Right i see no problem im being compensated for the thousands upon thouands i spent enhancing, in the mean time with the enhancements im gaining massive ammounts of credits for omega, a massive advantage, aswell as getting something else "Unknown" Also as far as we know the prize is bassed on the ammount each player put into enhanceing and how they enhanced (Varium or Credits) so i cannot see it being a set acheivement. 130k credits and counting :D

If I tell you I will trade you an apple for a potato, the we trade, then I eat some of the potato, then you take it back without giving me back my apple, is that fair?
I understand law is on their side, and since I do trust the judgement of the team, I will happily sit back and see them do their thing
Hopefully, they do the fairest thing
Should they do that, I will happily continue to spend cash on this game, in fact, I have money waiting to buy the Omega 10k var pack

Hopefully, they do what is best for the players,
I trust the ED staff will make the correct decision, whatever that may be

 @blaze: I agree, whatever the staff chooses, I trust that they will choose the solution that best satisfies both the GMs and players as much as possible.

I'm excited. I've spent thousands of Varium on enhancements. I trust that the Artix staff will be fair with their rewards considering that they aren't obliged to give any compensation what-so-ever. So guys just stop complaining, sit back, and be grateful that you'll be getting anything in return at all.

You should be grateful that enhancements helped you while they lasted! I haven't heard anything that they will be removed, I actually think I saw that they will stack with the new system!
