When speaking of a progressive credit-gain and experience-gain system, I refer to the likes of those already implemented in other Artix Entertainment games, wherein you get more gold and experience per battle as you level up. I've noticed that, when winning against people of the same level as you or lower, you get 32 credits and 12 experience points every single time. At lower levels, this is fine, but at higher levels, this becomes a drag. Moving from one level to the next becomes a huge chore because you'll need to win a lot more battles than before (not to mention lose more battles). Gaining credits requires a grindfest just so you can purchase 1 item. 1 item?

Sure there are boosts to help you, but these won't do. They are limited to X number of wins, and they cost Varium, a premium currency. You can only get boosts depending on how much real-life money you invest into your character. And that's just for 1 character. What if you have 6?

There's also happy hour, but that's just 2 hours a day, and if you miss those times, better luck next time kid.

With the current credit and experience gains, leveling up and buying items is just a chore, a mindless chore.

There isn't that much difference in time between higher or low level battles so I think its fine to stay the way it is.

I'd be in favor of streak bonuses. Like you get +5 more credits every time you win a pvp battle, so if you get a big win streak youg et more credits.

@Remorse: Not exactly. The bare-bone credit-gain and experience-gain system does make you spend more time fighting. Excluding wins against higher-leveled players (which happen less and less as you level up), gaining 32 credits and 12 experience points per win feels small when aiming for 12,550 total experience points (exp needed to get from level 31 to level 32) or a Cardboard Crusader worth 28k credits.

Taking the examples previously mentioned, you will need roughly at least 1,046 wins or at most 2,092 loses in 1v1 in order to level up from level 31 to level 32 and you will need roughly at least 875 wins or at most 1,750 loses in order to purchase a Cardboard Crusader.

Sure there's that happy hour and those boosts, but these are just extras.

Well, I could be saying these because I'm playing ED as a casual player now. Maybe ED caters more to the hardcore types? I don't know.

I play all Battleon games and I can say the best system of gold(credits) and experience is in Aqw.
In AQW if you are high level its easy to you reaching the max gold(I think its 2,500,000).
And experience its easy because the high level and the farming,too.
But dont forgot in AQW,all players dont buy itens from the shop.
Most of items are had by missions(quests).

I support your idea, credit winning system should be also improved by lvl, i donīt want this to be AQW but gamer is right in what he says, the best gold/credit system is actually in AQW, higher lvl enemies give you more experience and gold but it still takes more time to lvl up your character, and the most awsome items are the most expenssive...

In the video goony did, it was shown that the credit prices were going to be higher, i mean ŋ16k for just a lvl 20 armor?

But letīs talk about logic, a lvl 1 player will never, i repeat NEVER need the same credits amount than a lvl 30 player, the lvl 30 player will need more credits for upgrade his weapons, buy what he likes..
Thatīs literally pay to win at low lvls ŋwhy donīt we do a chart?
