Why is the Delay bad/good for you?

 Well, i just thought about it, and assuming Omega wont be released in the first 3 days of January.
I cannot play in Omega nor the Yeti tournament during my holiday, and that is just the worst thing of the delay.

I wouldnt mind if they delayed it two times in November instead of December because i then still had to go to school.
But now, i basically dont have a chance to get that Golden Yeti, and also i cannot complete all the missions on time before they go away.
And that is just the worst thing.

And yes, i do am aware that the devs cant do much about that, but i only wonder why they didnt release Omega some time before Christmas, so they dont have to do all this features in such a small time.
I think they just started way to late with Omega, and should have started earlier.

On another note, if it wasnt delayed i wouldnt get a 2 for 1 offer, but that doesnt really compensate since i cant play anymore since the release is just to late.
I mean, there are some benefits, like you can provide from the still Rare offers like the Harvest gear and Dragoncon items.
But this doesnt really make it better for all the people who need to go to school on the 7th of January.

So no, i would not mind these delays if they were a month ago, so dont immediatly attack me

But how is your situation with the Delays, do you mind or dont you really care since you already left school?

When they release Omega, I will barely have time to play... got too much work...

I was very excited that the update would come during the holidays, but well... there's nothing we can do now. I just hope I can experience it all.

At least they didn't deliver us a rushed, unfinished Omega. :P
I always prefer updates to take enough time to be prepared, and with more quality.

Same, I have exams exactly when the tournament is supposed to be! Looks like I won't be able to get a golden yeti :/

Its bad for you but good for me. May vacation starts 10th January. Also server reset time is at 8:00 in my country so when i woke up and start playing i can easyly get the 1st place in lb.

I think Epicduel made for middle east countries xD

Good because I understand that I now have a chance to get the pre-order cause of thie awesome delay! Also because you can still challenge NPCs.

Bad because I cannot win the Golden Yeti since EpicDuel is blocked in school. I go to a Boarding school on week days. I return on week-ends.

Yeah same thing but I'm going to have so many exams, and I will have to revise

The delay was good for me since I was able to get the 2 for the price of one deal the staff gave, and I actually have free time for the contest so it is all gravy for me.

 Well, after my holiday, i first have one week which is to prepare exams.
So i will be a bit able to play, but the week after only Exams.
Week after that i have to work as a trainee for a halfyear so basically the delay ruined everything for me..

It's not good nor bad for me. Sure i would prefer it around the holidays, but work doesn't ever take a break even during holidays so it doesn't matter. If it makes you feel better, i'm not going to compete in the tournaments. After infernal i feel like i already waisted to much time on playing and not enough on other stuff so now i'm doing it the other way around. No more games and spending all day on that other thing.

Bad. I was planning to go for the Golden Yeti, but that is now impossible.

(But good, because I can go closer to 2vs2 All-Tme!)

I'd rather just recieve the Yeti then spend countless hours 1v1ing like I'm already doing because theres nothing else to do.

I would not be able to compete for the Golden Yeti due to a lack of time. (if it weren't for the delay, I would be competing in full force)

I just wish the Golden Yeti could be bought in-game for a high varium price... 30,000 credits and 2,500 varium?

No it hasn't yet. It will most likely start in omega since there isn't an extra LB for the contest posted yet. Besides the staff didn't even tell us what we will be doing in the tournament and how we will win it either.

I find the delay good , too ! I haven't finished my school projects yet since i'm enjoying my last year of high school Christmas vacation .

Lordy, you saved me butt. I have to do my projects during the holiday...

It's more to the good side though. You can still challenge NPCs for a good cause and collect rares!

 Horrible for me. I posted this without reading any other posts before me , so sorry if this is random I'm just answering question.

Horrible because I came on Wednesday to check on game and people say, leave, come back on Thursday, so I come back on Monday and It has

been delayed.

P.S : I think I finally understand this update! If what I believe is true.. I can upgrade my ugly weak weapons into stronger weapons, and this will

make the game more fun, since I quit after I lost all my items. Lolz. dw about me

he doesnt have money until the 2nd week of january, so he can still buy the pre-order package.

Or for people who have holiday in january and not in december.

So it can be good for some, but terrible for others.
And if i look at all these reactions.
more then 50% are pretty much screwed because of the delays..

well, b4 the delay i made up my mind not getting anymore varium, but then the delay occured and they came up with a rediculous deal, so now i find myself with 50$ remaining, and im debating on if i shall get varium or cod bo 2, although i find varium pretty useless for me now since im not sure omega will be a fail or not, i also feel like cod Bo 2.

The delay was awesome! Now I can become an Omega Founder. I wanted to be an OverSoul Fiunder but I enjoy ED more!
