This is a storyline about the First War of DoomWood. There is a LOT of strategy and I've got a lot planned up, just have to put it here! Anyways, there are some ridiculous things that makes no sense, but even so, it's still fun to write.

DOOMWOODS STRATEGIES

Part I: Reasons to Conflict

Many years ago, Galtoin - Alteon's great-grandfather - was the king of Oaklore; the first and only Emperor of Skullhome, Aiitin, knew that his reign was threatened by the Paladin's push through his DoomWoods. Not only that, but also how holy soldiers were convincing the creatures at Chiral Valley - also his territory- that Good was the correct way to go, rather than his firstly implemented Evil. He sent a message to the King informing that if he didn't stop his men from moving inside his lands, Skullholme would confront the soldiers as a threat. As Aiitin's demands were denied, Galtoin knew the emperor would stop at nothing to protect his interest. The king decided to create the Pactagonal Knights. They were the single army of Oaklore.

Jackthrill Lionfang was the Good King's greatest knight and leader of the Paladin Keep on the region of the DoomWoods. The paladin felt that Aiitin's exigences were abusive and that his empire had to fall, be it from a full-scale attack, be it from an arranged war; since the first option wasn't available, he choose the another way: the traitorous path. Close to the Paladin Keep stood some ruins used as shelter to peaceful undead villagers who guarded two valuable Shadow-Dragon Eggs. Claiming that the draggies could be a threat for humanity, the paladins assaulted that town and destroyed everything within it, mercilessly casting holy spells on the eggs. Soldiers reported the attack to Aiitin, who furiously sent a massive blitzkrieg upon the Paladin Keep. The traitor escaped from the attack for a simple reason: before that, Lionfang has alerted Galtoin that the Dark Emperor would attack their tower. Upon the news that his keep was utterly destroyed and his men, annihilated, the king declared war against the Skullholme Empire.

Part II: First Battle

The knights marched through the DoomWoods until they saw the undead army. The army of countless skeletons went as far the vision could see, chilling most spine of the soldiers of good. However, the paladins marching in the front lines gave the men moral to fight, even knowing they were in smaller numbers. As Aiitin's army spotted their enemies, all together they grumbled and screamed: "Arrreeeeewww!" at their enemies, running with the speed of a thunder horse. The front liners stood in a defensive position, raising their glorious shining shields. The ranger commandant shouted to his man "FIRE!" and the skies quickly were invaded by endless waves of burning arrows, smashing the bones of unprotected skeletons. Both armies sprinted towards their enemy and as the warriors got into their melee swing radius, the real battle started.

Necromancers summoned more skeletons in the back lines of the army, while DoomKnights brawled fiercely with their equals of light. In eagle's eyes which yet had not struck with the arrows, undead exploded by the holy beams and knights flying sky high with dark, pulsating doom lasers. The battle was running well for Aiitin, as he had way more soldiers than his enemy, Galtoin. However, Jackthrill has given his king a perfect idea of creating super-soldiers of light: they were trained by the HighLords to become the most powerful, not only with the power of light spells but also having berserk-like fighting or magical powers yet with sanity of any common soldier, beyond the power of any DoomLord... the greatest men, the gold slaughterers of the undead.

Galtoin accepted Jackthrill's idea and decided to promote him to a General, no longer paladin Jackthrill but now General Lionfang, leader of the Goldenslaught. The cost for each goldenslaughterer was about twenty four times bigger than for a regular knight. They used special armors, special holier weapons and even more special shiny holy things. And after three or four days of battle, one hundred Goldenslaughterers were sent into war. The result was a massive decrease of skeleton soldiers, DoomKnights were being less effective on battle and the Good troops were gaining grounds. It was confirmed, at least for a time, that Aiitin would face nothing but defeat.
