Now that their is 70+ energy on high level players.


I think they should allow the energy drain gun skill core to be used more then once a game by say having a 3 turn cool down separate from the side arm attack.

This is because the energy drain deals no damage and drains quite a small amount, it's in definite need of a buff and making it usable more then once would do just that.

For the most part, i support it.

But it isnt in need of a buff, it could do -2 and i would be happy, i only use it to take away just enough energy for no berserker. and if the generator...i use atomic smash.

What if Str builds abuse it? Its energy taken is based on your gun damage....

^ Its not gun damage with STR,

Its literally just your gun damage, which is basically your level.


So what it practically means is, based on your level.


Side note, it also doesn't take into consideration of deadly aim.

I support this, and I would also mind to suggest for skill cores to be based on LEVEL so anyone can use them to their full extent regardless of the setup of their stats or skills.

Strength builds cant abuse an energy drain. They have low defenses so every turn they're not doing 40 damage to you is a turn wasted.

I would support the ability to use the skill multiple times. This would be helpful in long battles against reroute players.

^ Exactly,

reroute opponents with 70 energy to start are almost immune to energy drains, if you add the extra gun one then it could make for a viable counter for heal loopers should they ever arise when support increases heal again.

Personally, I think the gun energy steal needs to take more energy...

Agreed pretty much with Remorse. Now people have 70 energy and we can just steal like 13-14-15 energy with the gun which is pretty useless now.
It needs an improvement.

I think base energy should just be lowered to the good ol' 41-47 energy like what classes had from Alpha-Delta...

Health remains the same.

^ I actually like the high energy, makes for some more creative builds which means I wont have to sacrifice defense or power for energy to use them which is great.


Only problem is that it also beneficial for STR builds for example , but a strong nerf to those skill should fix that.

i dnt know how useful that core is period till strengh is nerfed it suicidal to waste a turn doing no damage against most abuse builds that are rolling around as it is.

^ You know how useful it is when you use it against a build that isn't STR.


Not every single player in omega uses STR, I admit most do, but not all.

a skill core that isnt useful against most is abit worthless . however i have to admit against some builds it can be useful . but when said builds are in the minority .... yeah

It does take into account all str and DA - Still I think it still needs a buff b/c right now its not nearly useful as causing direct damage, besides for the 2% of time that you absolutely need to stop a strong attack.

Wow didnt think it did because it still hit low when I was using a STR build with deadly aim...


That just goes to show it can't really be abused,

If it can't take off much from a STR abusing blood mage..

If base 10 EP that was added in Omega will be taken away ( http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=21107456 ), this shouldn't be a problem. I find it okay; I may only take 13 Energy or so with 13-36 +35 +9 (IIRC), but it's not a full EP drain skill such as Atom or EMP but a Core which means it should have less power, even despite the fact it's once per battle.

Only BMs may find it low. TM can use it alongside with Assimilate and other classes have 2 strong ones, in case of BH and CH it'll be 2 unblockable at that.

^ Yep, since it is 25% of your gun damage... Therefore, 4 more strength into one energy taken=not a big difference....However, I tried a build and had a buddy challenge me. He Intimidated me leaving me 2+35 strength left. I used the gun and it took away 9 energy, a number I've never seen when using a focus build(13+35).

Yep, but IMO it shouldn't take our sidearm into cooldown.

If it was a weaker gun attack which also drained a bit of energy, that would be diffrent.

I actually agree with this one. Because if the core was on 3 cooldown,it would help.

Then don't use the Core. You'd have to pick which cores don't go into cooldown and which do, so why should a special ability not do so whilst offensive core has to put Gun into cooldown? Effect vs. Damage, simple as.
