I realized that the base deflection and block chances are WAY too high. 10% at equal tech and 8% at equal dex? Given you don't know what passive core your armor is using on their armor unless they're using one with a locked core, this makes it extremely difficult to play strategically, plus, luck just messes you up and totally kills you. Heavy hitting builds like strength and support are getting too many benefits from the absurdly high base chance and minimum chance, particularly with cores they can place in their armors. I think that the base and minimal chances for deflection and blocks be halved to 5% and 4% respectively. Also, I'd suggest increasing the max deflection chance, because 25% is definitely not that much, compared to 35% on blocks. Given max deflection chance is 31%, and max block chance (with shadow) is 49%, I feel deflection chance's max value should be increased to 35% as well. This is what will happen if this gets applied: -The great technology difference will negatively affect strength abusers who only invest in dex and strength because the cap was increased to a solid 35% rather than a weak 25% -Less lucky deflections and blocks on the killing moves when 2 similar builds are fighting each other, making wins more reasonable -Minimal values of deflection/block won't benefit strength/support builds by getting a lucky deflect with a deflect core or a lucky block with a block core.
