Here's some tips for saving you varium when buying your gear.

Lessen the amount of stats/dmg it comes with BEFORE you purchase it! It drops the price significantly. You can then upgrade to normal level with credits thus saving you tons of var.


Example:

I buy the new Azrael swords.

Lessen dmg to 13 and stats to 0

Once I buy it, I upgrade with credits.

A bit heavy on credits, but varium saving.

 I actually did that with Azrael's Scythe. Worked out great for my pocket since I'm somewhat low on Credits but have quite a lot of Varium from 10K Omega package + refund. XD

Works especially great on a core you want, but can't afford you vasically buy the core and upgrade it slowly over time.

@Trans - How do you get a refund? Refund as in getting something you sold or bought but with full price?

^ I think he means the 30% enchancement refund we got along with his 10k package was that it Trans?

 Yep, the 30% refund. It got me 6K Varium back so I had total of 15K by the time Omega was released. Since I'm lazy + casual player, I blew 2K easily on Yeti Serum as well (did both 150 PvP missions only). Saves me time + Varium will last me for a while until I have to buy it again so why not?

I literally spend most of my varuim on class changes I'm trying to save it though.

Just realized I had 1k battleon points, now have 505 varium...duh hell will I do with that :/

I did that with the Beast Rider and the Cyro Claws. It works really well.
