okay.. well this will probably be shot down but what if since so many people want the golden yeti but due to the current balance problems
causing the LB for the tourny to be out of a lot of those peoples reach what if they turned the ticket into a key that opens up a shop (titan can have it? )
where your able to purchase the golden yeti if you have a ticket.. ( and if it's possible ) have it to where the more points you got in the tournament judge
a "worthiness" discount ( top 100 = free ) every 10 spots after that getting a variably discount say
101-110 90% discount
111-120 80% discount
121-130 70% discount

and so on and so on... just a suggestion

i may not have a ticket but this seems like a good idea but as you said it will probably be shot down but i can support this.

Not supported in the least. I said it when someone else said this and I will say it again.

Making the yeti sellable in game would defeat the purpose of it being ultra rare in the first place.

Only 100 are suppose to be given out as a prize for those who make it on the LB in the tourney and making a shop to buy this ultra item even if you had the ticket would be spitting in the faces of anyone who worked hard for the past two weeks trying to win the tournament.

Making the yeti sellable would not defeat the purpose of the tournament. The tournment is used for the people who cant afford the highly priced yeti. The shop is for people who dont have time but the money. Its a trade of money for time or time for money. The tournament gives people the option of a free yeti the dont have to purchse however the shop is for people who dont have the time. Plus who would need to have paid 50 dollars and spend many credits and varuim to purchase. The tournament gives you a free one you dont have to buy and a achievement the shop makes you spend varuim and credits for it wothout the achievement so its balanced.

how will it hurt the rarity? that makes no sense only people who pre-ordered have a ticket and therefore only people who are in this tournament at the moment will be able to buy it NOBODY ELSE only the people who pre-ordered so there will still be a small amount of them compared to say the "ultra-rare* delta armor/ war bike.. those were both sold ingame ( heck one was free to everybody ) just because a select number of people would have to pay for this bot doesn't mean that it suddenly hurts the point of it being rare.. and face it with current balance a lot of people don't have a chance do get the yeti so why not? they payed and got into the tournament why shouldn't they have a chance at the yeti? as of this moment only the hardcore never sleepers and the account sharers (you know there out there.. ) will even remotely be able to win at the current rate.. I myself have some time to compete since I'm currently out of HS and unemployed but a lot of people don't have
the luxury of being free to battle endlessly every day for 2 weeks. This is just an option to give the other players that might not be able to really be competitive yet still want something out of this tournament other than a smack to the face cause they can't nolife the game to win.

@ Below ~ Problem is they released it at a bad time.. balance is .. to put it lightly a disaster in a lot of aspects.. so yeah

yes it would. The staff said it themselves that this item is suppose to be ultra rare and only 100 of them are going to be given as a reward for those who earned it in the tourney. A reward is something you earn not something you can by for any amount of currency in game.

But on another note Astral remember what happened when you made a thread about making the yeti buyable in game? If not I will tell you. It was not only shot down by me and a bunch of other players but even Parcel himself said that the prize wouldn't be sellable in game as it would defeat the purpose of the prize being ultra rare.

Just work hard and get on the LB. Then when you get to a decent spot on the LB you will be safe for the time being. you don't lose spots as quickly as you think once you get to a certain spot.

The staff said they were only giving away 100 of them and they are the prize of a tournament.

Plus the staff already said it wouldn't be available in game to buy.

Plus let not forget real more was spend to get this ticket to earn the right to get this yeti. You already know people will feel away if they did this and it would be taking away a promised perk of those who preordered.

@Mother 1 You have a point just a sugguestion though I understand your logic and concern on why it might not be a good idea just a thought though.
