Each weapon has 5 slots.

Each slot is 3.5k credits or 100 var(can be changed)

Brings more diversity, easily available to anyone.

About half as many as Delta(enhances)

What say guys?

The point of them getting removed was to close the gap and fix balance better (enhancements caused a lot of issues), so bringing them back is repeating the same mistake. Regardless of its cost, it'd result in the same thing.

You don't remove something to bring it back afterwards. Especially after refund was given. It'd be trolling, a massive one, from the Devs.
