Growth Serum is arguably weaker than any core you could purchase from the core store, such as meteor shower, plasma meteor, etc... The main reason is because it improves base support only, which results in a minor buff. If you had 100 base support, you would actually get a decently substantial buff (not even a strong buff yet, only a decent one) of 30 support points for 3 turns, which overall still isn't useful because it's unlikely one will have the opportunity to use 3 support-based moves in a row. Also, IF you had enough base support for the buff to actually be strong (around 35+), then it still wouldn't be worth the turn because you'd incidentally have lower defenses and thus would sacrifice the turn for a mere 4-5 aux damage boost, and a 6-10 points of effect in debuffs, buffs, and active skills. Here are my suggestions on buffing growth serum: -Buffs total support, including stat mods (This makes the buff actually substantial) OR -Increases max HP by 10% of your full HP and heals you for the max HP increase. Lasts the entire fight (only the HP increase will, not the support buff) (This would make the core far more applicable in 2v2, as well as giving a nice slight effect on the HP buff, without overpowering anything because a high HP investment would reduce base support investment) OR -Strike while buffing your base support (Normal strike while buffing your support. If you have substantial support, your strike isn't gonna do much. Also, Omega cores strike with 100% damage and have near the same effect) OR -Buffs strength and support by 25% of the base value each (If you actually have good base strength and support, you'll lack base tech/dex. This would make the core more applicable by improving skills such as intimidate and malfunction) OR -Your size intimidates the opponent, thus reducing their strength by 80% of the amount of support you were buffed by. (this makes it so that using the buff with extremely high support is actually worth the turn, because if you have high base support your overall endurance is going to be somewhat weak. By doing this, you can buff your support while reducing the opponent's damage output, making the buff more useful on higher support builds with less endurance)
