All I see is dexterity mages, dexterity BH's and almost all sup merc's. Are all classes forced to go ONE, ONLY WAY? Is this their "Balance"?

 Because they are easy to abuse for people. Btw, you missed out Focus.

@above if you abuse a stat like strength for example, for the first few stat points you invest in strength in-order to increase your primary/sidearm damage is 4 or 5 points but once you pass the mark you would need to invest 6-8 stat points to increase your primary/sidearm damage.

 Because if they were to get heavier diminishing (thus harder to get more Def/Res), offence would be much more superior. It already works in such way but not that slow.

It's not like Dex Mage's are that OP anyway and Dex BH's are just OP due to luck based skill + SA + high dex = high blocking (which can be countered with unblockables). And honestly, those aren't the only builds I've seen. I've encountered various with other builds than Dex TM/BH, mainly Focus but also various Support BH's and the likes.

Probably one or more of the following reasons:

A) You have low Strength.
B) You are striking their highest defense.
C) You were Intimidated.

Intimidate is a skill that lowers your base STR.

In other words, your base STR got lowered so you did lower dmg.
