I've been wanting boosters back in the game for a while now, but they probably wont add them back.
So my suggestion is to have a robot that heals you 25-35 (can be changed)
It will work just like a normal robot, and have some sort of strike attack, and its special will heal you.

Is the heal ability one time use? if it isn't not supported.

I was thinking more like boosters.. so probably one, but maybe two (because you could have 2 heal boosters in one fight)

So maybe change the name to Booster Bot??

no, caster techmages, juggs and tanks builds would abuse it, a one time heal is enough, unless of course you can use it 2 times but it will only heal you for 14 health points each use.

You could have. Boosters are no longer associated with EpicDuel battles (but still with EpicDuel), finding a hole in the rules just to bring boosters back is counterproductive to the changes that have been made in terms of what was deleted from EpicDuel and what was appended.

One time heal is balanced and a good idea.

I say having two versions of the bot.

We could have a Field Medic robot, where it increases your HP by +25 with a one time use.

AAANNNNDDDD we could have an Energy Amplifier bot, where it increases your EP by +25 with a one time use.

HP being physical damage and EP being Energy damage.

So I'm right to assume it'd be like Assault Bot but with special ability being the heal of HP/EP (for respectable version) and - regardless of the Focus - it'd heal the same amount at all times, thus not improving with Focus? *just like Assault Bot*

If so, I'm all for yes. Although Heal would have to be higher than that of a Booster, especially with the fact it targets you + once per battle, unlike Assault Bot. So we'd be looking at a good Heal here of perhaps ~40 HP? Not sure about Energy due to the uses it has and potential abuse with it; 40 EP can give you good damage from a skill and outweigh the HP heal; it'd have to be lower than HP heal; old Booster's amount would be fine (25 EP).

I actually changed the Assault bot E's colors and suggested this a year ago. Here's my color changed bot if you're interested: Healing Assault Bot
I'd prefer if the pink wasn't there and the orange was yellow.

Anyway, I support rayniedays version of the idea: a phys HP bot healing 25, and an energy EP bot giving 25 energy.

I don't really care about the colors.
From looking at the suggestions, I think that probably one heal would be best.

@above Yep

@above Don't think of it as a booster, because there are differences
- it will cost more than a booster because it is a robot (probably 25k to 30k)
-it can only be used once per battle
- it can also attack (can be weaker if you think it is OP)

quote:

we could have an Energy Amplifier bot, where it increases your EP by +25 with a one time use

@above Maybe... but it would have to be a separate bot, so another 25k to 30k cred price, not sure about varium prices, because I have never used varium, and I don't plan on it

Not really supported, I never liked boosters and I was really darn glad they got rid of them. Also, many classes already have 2-3 healing options, so adding another healing option would just be downright abuse on tank builds. An example would be TLM... here are the healing options they have:

-Field Medic
-Frenzy (quite effective on rage)
-Surgical Strike
-Generator

That's already 4, so just add the healerbot and... yea, it's not really gonna help balance in any ways, especially since TLM also has reroute.

yep, TLM is the main problem, because they have reroute and so many healing options, a 25 point heal not only gives them health but it also gives then additional energy due to reroute when you attack them, same goes for caster techmages.
