simple enough... can we just lower it a little?
im forced to keep more than i use :/ its a waste

Then their is a flaw in your build. This also overpowered emp taking even more energy.

So lower the amount just because you got more than YOU will use? No, the current minimum energy is fine and it should remain the way it is now.

We need to lower it, especially since no one's investing into it in the first place. If you can skip out on a stat entirely, you need to rework it

Lower it at the same time, slightly buff health to compensate the loss. Also, emp can be properly be nerfed along with assimilation.

No NO NO! its alright thinking about just the 35s. And i'm not sure lowering energy their is even a good idea but at the lower levels hell no. Getting above 80 hp with a decent build that you have a relatively decent chance of winning with at the lower levels is bad enough as it is now. Their just aren't enough stat points. The only way i can see this being a good idea if they return hp/ep too 2 hp/ep per stat point . Or even I'd accept just hp being 2 hp per stat point

I understand the energy is not being invested, but our builds are severely devastated by the removal of enhancements,

Talking about nerfing bolt or assimilation is not a good idea in my opinion . Unless you want to see the mage class only played by people with azrael. I guarantee you that's what will happen the mage class would be crippled. Anyone who disagrees. I'll enjoy reading the posts if it ever does happen.

one of my charters is a 5 focus bm, i use all of my energy only if i loop heal, so does that mean we should lower the base ep? no, because if we fix ep we would meed 2 fix all energy drainers 2, my bh is using a 4 focus whit a 50 points emp, and whit 1st turn its just an istant win.
lowering the base ep would rappresent a buff 2 all tanky build (which belive me or not are the most effective) and a nefr 2 all of those offencive builds ( which belive me or not are only focused on luck-unluck)

I think it does need to be lowered, people don't need to invest into energy e.g max surgical can be achieved without any investment

i have to agree though, there is no reason for ur base energy to cover enough for a max ultimate (surgical strike, super charge, massacre)
this is why no one invests in it.

and then there are builds that need less energy, and they dont have the option of lowering it manually.

i use all of my energy only if i loop heal, so normally i dont need it, but whit generator core and 62 ep i alwaise feel safty, because i know that my opponent would need a 48 energy drain to take away my heal.
so i can agree whit lowering base ep, but we would need 2 low energy drains 2
ex. -10% base ep = -10% base drain of all energy drainers

i could change my build to use all of my energy yes, but i dont need to spend so much as it is, and it wouldnt improve my win /loss rate, but it would jeapardize my chance to use skills.

how about there is a minimum that must go into either health or energy, and so i can decrease my energy by two points ot move it into health only, but not any other stat.

Yeah BS. An unblockable EP Drain as well as a EP Gain...Of a calculated amount in the double digits (Calculated means you can change your build so you use exactly the amount of EP you gain back, unlike Static Charge or Reroute)...No cost to use it...

That's the biggest lie I've heard in ages.

I believe MP should be set at 45 so like in Delta, you have to invest points into MP.

This would nerf most builds because at level 35 and a bit lower 60ish base MP is enough to use every skill, like max ultimates like the surgical strike 5 focus builds on TLM. They would lose defense to invest enough MP to use their surgical strike.

well unless they plan to nerf that emp grenade, maybe assimilation a little or buff atom smasher i'm sure as hell it won't be a good ideea...make our energy 40 so an emp can take it all?

Make our EMP take it all? This could've happened in delta too. Base MP (45) and then one EMP could take it all, I don't see the difference now except of how MP goes up by 1.

no i wouldnt mind a nerf. why dont they just make it so emp take a % of your WHOLE energy. like level 1 is 25%, and level 10 is 50%, that was it ballances out. and make assimilation drain a percent og your strength damage (minimum 3 maximum up to like 20?)

Please reduce, casters builds are so cheap since they can invest all into tech and be a super tank/ damage dealer at the same time. Why do I have to use so many points on my build when they don't any on theirs? Since assimilate is so stronk now using the energy draining gun don't do anything, the only thing that stops casters is emp.

agreed as well. they can totally overlook anything to do with their eneryg levels, causes they always have more than they need :/

u need to be more objective when it comes to balance.
reducing base energy would reduce casters effectiveness to use energy skills, which is really all they have.
then they would have to invest in energy. the same goes for any max ultimate build.

im pretty sure at lvl 35, fully geardm u have the same amount of stat points.
just because he put it all into 1 place doesn't mean they used less stats or that ur using more.

alot of people make balance suggestions but they aren't objective about it.
