This idea will come in handy because alot of people want to go into an alignment where they know they can win. I've seen some people with legion achievements and then having exiles achievements (Frysteland/Infernal war) after the 2nd war which doesn't make any sense since people want to go to a winning alignment.

I am thinking of this idea like in aqw because it will give us a limited space to join the alignment we want to go in and also there could be a cost for changing. Like in AQW, I think you have to pay 100k to change from good to evil which is alot. So this idea is like changing from legion to exile. This will stop people from going into an alignment where they know they can win but also preventing people to stay in a FIXED alignment where they know that they cannot change.

I know it cost 15k/ 300 var to making an alignment.
But now I think we need a price to change into the opposing alignment

This is the prices I am thinking, but if the devs look at this, they could agree on my price/your price/ devs own prices:

40,000 credits to change alignments
1,495 varium to change alignments

This also goes for making an alignment so say if you made a legion faction with 15k. And then you wanted to change to exile for 15k, then you would have to pay an additional amount of 15k+40k=55k with maybe a 20% discount 55-11=44k
So 44k if you want to change an alignment when you want to make a faction

I also want the staff to keep where you stay to one side in the war also. If you get what I mean.
I want factions/ alignments to be as limited as possible where it is hard to change for you.
I just don't like the idea when people keep swapping over without and paying & I want them to keep where you have to stay in one side also

Now come on, why would you keep swapping to exile and legion then exile and legion. It is like your betraying both alignments consistently
which doesn't make sense.

Good points
-The reason why it is so expensive is to stop people from switching over alignments over and over again (Legion to exile and vice versa).
- Stop people from going into a winning alignment
-It will make you think if you want to change alignments with the high price
-Reliable War/WD

Bad points
-People will get mad if they have to pay for it alot (which is a good thing)
-High price

Solutions
- Maybe when there is an occasional event going on, the devs can drop the price, then put it back to normal after the event.
- Doing a mission to go to the other alignment (Like in AQW).

Only 2 things I can think of ;/.

NOTE:
This has been said several times!!!!!
You cannot change faction alignments during wars

Sorry but I can't support this. This could cause issues during war events. in the infernal war the staff made it so you had to stay to one side. If the entire faction could just change alliance like it was nothing due to this it would cause problems during war events.

You should only be able to change allignments once. If you defect from your allignment, there is no reason for them to trust you and take you back again.

how about once per war? you may change your mind about a side between wars, and wish to compete for different sides between wars.

Support Faction Alignment switching except during Alignment wars.

Also here's last month's thread suggesting this: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=21280481

^^

But I want it for people to pay for switching alignments excluding wars.
It would just set the boundaries for people not swapping.
Not once per a week and that stuff. They take too long to implement.

This is much easier and simpler. You pay or stay (in your alignment)

I personally don't support cause I'm biased to the fact realistically

Switching alignments would be seen as high treason ( especially under the rule of someone like the legion ) therefore if one was apprehended after doing so
the nicest thing that could happen is life in imprisonment the more likely thing however would be execution/ being made an example of. So if you switch allignments
you should never... EVER be able to switch back to another Alignment especially during war times. If you choose to side with the legion well you will just have to live
with the consequences of being a legionnaire whether that be glorious victory! or excruciating defeat ( i'm hoping for the victory >.> )

as for the idea itself it's to cheap :P
100k
5k varium

and that's being nice... last time I checked bribing a entire army to let you into there ranks shouldn't be doable with pocket change :l

During a war, No.
Outside a war, Yes.

During a war, you can already have a good sight on which aligment will win.
All the players would then immediatly change to the winning aligment, because they then get the victory's achievement.
That is simply how people are, they want to win, win and win.

Basically, you should not be possible to change aligment at all during an aligment war.

Yes, that's what I was supporting. It's obvious it will come with a payment. :)

so i'm exile if legion win the war i could just farm credits in the war and in the last minutes to jump to the winning side? i don't support. think this way anyone with enough credits/var will just wait to see which side win and jump to it. would be no war at all..maybe you should think about something you can't change if the "winning side" it's already at 50% (like in infernal war you can't change if already legion for example has destroyed 50% of the vault ) this way you would keep the urge to "alignment" it's winning, quick, change to it.

I already explained this! You haven't read properly, maybe I need to put that post on the top bit.
It;'s best to read the post I wrote as you scroll down.

Well first of all why do you care if people betray a certain alignment?
Also wouldn't people just wait for almost the end of the war to join one then claim victory?
Not Supported.

First of all that doesn't even make sense.
Are you just going to switch to exile then back to legion over and over again? Yes you will, that's why there needs to be some limitations for the game to make sense. Maybe because you don't like the idea of having to pay since the first question is not quite good.

So are you saying that if people kept switching evil to good vice versa, would the game realistically make sense? No it doesn't because first of all you are betraying both evil and good but also you as a character do not know what side you are on since firstly you are fighting for good then back to evil.

Or

If you kept switching from SAS to Militia, will you betray both sides? I do not think you would because otherwise they would hunt you down and kill you. So it's best to stick to one side.

Or

If you lived in your Mum's house then go and betray them and then run away and live in your relatives house and then you want to come back. Realistically maybe your mum might let you back in the house and give you some slaps for running away but I think they would kick you out of the house which you are not welcomed to come back ever again.

That doesn't make sense. You haven't given a constructive feedback. Where is your explanation for not supporting?

Yeah I like the defecting thing.

Then to gain there trust you would have to collect like 25 or the opposing
faction bones to rejoin. -->Yeti Pelt Drop Rate

From Exile/Legion NPC

Only after you have defected, this would be how to get back in.
