Alright so, IMO robots should be useful to everyone, NOT just 5 focus build players.

Maybe more robots that give you a passive boost? Cause right now, as a player with absoultely no focus at all, I'm left with the Assault bot, while everyone with 4-5 focus can enjoy the benefits of using every robot. It's like an extra set of cores that are only availible (or at the very least useful) to focus build players and I'd very much like some new robots with more generic cores. Like the Cleanse core for Assault Bots.

What do you guys think?

No. Robots are designed to be used with Focus, hence why Focus exists. Besides, Focus 4 does very well at high level without having to abuse Tech. Abilities such as Assault Bot's are universal and these will remain so.

Actually there are several robots like this already.

Assault bot
Azreal's borg
Bio borg
Pyro fly
Bunny bot's
yeti bots

All of these bots have effects that work with or without focus.

@Trans, seeing as some robots come with cores that don't require focus to give the same effect, you're not exactly right when you say they're /designed/ to only work with focus. Why are you saying no to my suggestion, it's not like I said they should get rid of the current existing cores or at all stop making cores solely relying on focus. I don't see a problem with implementing more generic cores that can be used by players without a focus build, it would open for more balance if anything, seeing as players currently cannot use a very wide range of robots without having a focus build.

@Mother1, I'm aware of these robots as well, but tell me, how many of these are still availible in game? In other words, I'm still pretty limited to using the Assault Bot, aren't I.

Designed for damage, yes. For abilities, not particularily but it's helpful since some abilities to deal damage but less so it's worth having some Focus instead of hitting 3 damage and your ability passing through.

Also, based on your post, the problem is with the Rare Bots instead of Bots relying on Focus.

@Mother1, a quick look at the Epic Duel Wiki made me realize the robots benefiting non-focus players aren't outnumbered by robots only useful to focus players. I thought they were, so my bad xD

@Trans, like I mentioned above ^ they've already taken all players into consideration when it comes to robots relying on focus or not, I didn't think of this. But as for the rare robots, I never said it was a problem. I simply said they're no longer an alternative to players without focus, so you really shouldn't count them in. Then again I've now realized there really aren't more robots relying only on focus availible IG atm, again like I mentioned above, so nevermind.

No focus no robot simple as that really unless your going to abuse tech or use a universal core robot.
