Hello I'm Frostblitz and it has come to my attention that I am extremely bored nowadays. I know a lot of other people feel the same.

To start off this will not be a long boring thread for you to read. This merely stats the facts of why most of us are very very bored with this game.

Fact Number 1: Level Cap; Now as you know level 35 is the level cap it has not been raised for nearly 2 years this is a good reason why most of us 35's are bored. We miss the excitement the joy of leveling up. We miss leveling to get that cool new item we had our eye on, but that all changed in omega.

Fact Number 2: Every Single Weapon IS Exactly the same; Whats the point in a game where you have no goal to works toward? Whats the point when every character is the same. Same as in they are able to achieve the same stats the same damage no one is different. The Individuality of every character is gone. this game has turned into a dress up game. Sure you can make a different build with different cores but it's not the same. When every weapon is the same why do you play Epicduel? The answer To get another weapon that you want then you get it and realize it's stupid.

Opinion Number 3: Nothing to do; I ask you what do you do when you log onto Epicduel? that's right you press a button for 1v1 or 2v2 or jugg etc. Pushing these buttons repeatedly gets a little old. This war is nothing but fighting and more fighting at least in the infernal war we had an objective to wok towards. if your level 35 odds are you completed all the missions to be done and you've got all the NPC achievements. YOu probably have cleaned out the achievement shop and are looking for something to do.

Opinion Number 4: Cores; Ah we were all so excited when cores came then they came and yes we complained and complained. They are ruining the game to the point where if you have the Azrael Gear the battle is half won. These were a mistake to put into the game and were not very well thought out.

Opinion Number 5: Credit Farming is extremely tedious and very boring; you farm for credits and you get say 30k now you go spend it on cores oh look you have 3k left. Back to farming! These cores cost too much and we can't even store them. We need a core inventory!!!

Well that concludes the reasons why I am bored in Epicduel most of the time ;D

Please no Flaming. This is meant as a logical thread to get the Devs Ak's or whoever listens to us to change this game. So it's not quite so boring and tedious.

Mind changing word "fact" to "opinion" or "point"? You're using your own opinion as a fact, which is wrong. Even if few people agree with you, it is not a fact.

So what if all weapons are the same? AQ has the same - same level weapons will always have the same damage because of balance but they may have different leans and abilities. In ED, you will have cores to do so. Something to aim for? Level Cap isn't there for you to hit it, it's there to stop players from leveling endlessly and no content being released for them. You aren't supposed to no-life games because it's not healthy. Game is a dress-up game? It's one of the aspects but no, it's not a dress up game. It's a PvP game - UNLESS you can fight with your looks and get to Lvl 35 purely because you look good. I don't think so.
Cores ruined the game? How lovely you mention Azrael and not all the others. Point of Omega is cores. Whole game is run on cores, even Strike is a core itself but re-useable. Look it up in DNs to have it confirmed. Saying that they've ruined the game is an overstatement and purely opinion based. Devs won't listen if you say something like "U ruin da game cuz of ur release!!!1!11! REVERSE IT!"
Credit farming IS intended. Don't like it? Buy Varium. That's the whole point. You work for it or you pay your way through. After getting all the regional cheevos, I've done a bit over 100 battles and some during PH. They have given me roughly 10K Credits. It isn't as tedious if you have a goal to reach such as getting an item before it's gone.

If you're bored, don't play 24/7 or for hours each day. Play weekly releases, have a break, whatever. No one is expecting you to play daily for hours. You point out how everything has "ruined the game" and say it's a logical thread and no flaming. Well, this is more like a complaint without a suggestion on how you can fix it.

what do you mean So what??? Are you kidding. Thats the worst part of omega. You can't compare AQ to epicduel it just doesn't work.

You never said anything about nothing to do. BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO DO

I do not play 24/7 I would probably be driven out of my skull If I did that.

Credit Farming is a chore yes But the main part of that column was to emphasize that we need a core inventory.

and in a way all this summed up has ruined the game do you know how many players quit? I don't buy its probably a big number.

You cannot say there is nothing to do until you reach the credit cap and max out your win rank(which is a million wins I believe and earns you Demigod). Even then you have 5 more slots on your account to play through as well.

Whats the point in getting credits if every weapon is the same I'm already 35 and I have 2 alts which are 35 what is there left for me to do.

Yes, I can compare AQ to ED. Some aspects of it, not the whole game. The fact items are all equal at the same level is the same as in ED - can I not compare that? No one has a problem in AQ. They have leans and specials and ED has cores (passive and active).

Devs don't listen if you tell them they've ruined the game because of what they did. LB has explained it thoroughly in ED Decline Thread ages back. As of to losing players, that doesn't mean new ones ain't coming. So what if top players quit? Good for them. If there are players joining and game is growing, that's not important who quit and who joined. People WILL quit because they don't like some changes, even Devs are aware of it. You can't please everyone so you have to forgoe some things.

In Aq they have different type enhancements warrior mage etc. In epicduel we don't have that in here we just have same stats and dmg.

Do you switch builds often, Frost? I find that if I am bored in game (rarely get that) I will try a different build and see how it goes. Even a build that is not really suited to the class perhaps and see if I can make it work.

Yes actually I do switch builds alot it's just I get bored fighting even like 10 battles in a row. I wish there was like something to do this war isn't very appealing at the current time. And I have tons and tons of weapons don't need to buy more. and I'm 35 so no expierence pretty much all i'm doing is battling. and it's getting old.

No. They do not. These are starting classes which mean due to being on old standards. They have stats and they have different types of weapons. Otherwise they are the same as in ED - same level means same power, nothing else. AQ has special abilities if Staff wants to put them on (at a penalty in damage) but ED has cores as well.

It's not a logical thread but a complaint, and you don't want flaming either which is funny.

The storyline needs to be developed on a weekly basis. Settle balance ASAP, and actually draw in players to put in weekly commitment.

People here are just going to give excuses. If you find the game boring; then I got one advice for you....Just quit.
Play other games; if you want better PC online games Frost; just PM me; I'll give you good games which improve. One game last year had 400 players ; now it blew up to 40k players a day.

There is no incentive to play. The only thing you can do in this game is battle and do missions which can be completed in mere minutes or seconds. There's nothing else.

Remember the arcades anyone? Yeah they were fun for a time but instead of improving them the team removed it...and it's been years since they reopened them like they said they would. Just another broken promise
that can be thrown on their broken promises list.

Dunk, there's something called a priority list. I don't see how Arcade would fix the flaws that the game has. Yeah, neither do the Devs.

Where in there did I say reopening arcades would fix the flaws of the game? I was using the arcades as an example of how the team can make this game more enjoyable and also how
they tend not to keep their promises.

They only have a team of 5 with only 2 of them being developers to more being artists, and one the story writer. Plus they have so much on their plate right now that the arcade just isn't at the top of the do list right now.

Literally, they are making things like chance to drain opponent's energy and chance to do 20x damge

well with the unbalanced classes and the unfair fights in 2/2 and the runners i don't feel like playing the war at all will just do a few fights till the game is fixed

There is one incentive though. And that is achievements. If achievements didn't exist; who knows how many people wouldn't play this game....it'll probably die out.

For me personally there will be incentive to log on, hang out, do some 2v2s with friends for a long time. With the current balance the incentive to be extremely active is my faction.

the only thing boring about this game is dealing with people that use swords and noob builds
