Hey Epic dueler's i was thinking and i thought why not bring shields in the game?
i dont know if this was suggested before but i think its a good idea
this shields will have same ammount of the stats like the primary or the armor
+ this shield will give def and resistance but not as high as the armor but less
like maximum is 2 def&res

If it adds more protection. Then the basic attack should be lower. I liked the suggestion.

 This isn't a medieval game, Shields are more of a skill than an actual Shield used to defend. If you'd make Shields a must just like other equipment is, you should deal with Exp:Credit ratio and the Exp Curve, since you'd have to upgrade more equipment. Furthermore, take into account boosting weapon damage to compensate for it, which could make lower levels even more imbalanced due to going for damage instead of defence (or hybrid).

 Not supported like trans said it isn't a medieval game. It's a sci-fi game. We don't use olden technology.....(unlike some)

Yeah man, even riot shields are only meant to push back civilians, not for battling armed (with firearms) soldiers. If you want tankiness then you should start considering vehicles.
