(Note: i would love to go more into depth with this story later, but for now, this is the outline.) Part One: ( A simplified and short version) In a darker time, when Dage was still under the influence of Miltonius (now Nulgath) Lore had been subject to the underworld. The young and foolish Dage had found joy in releasing spirits into the over-world; watching the dead pick off those not strong enough to fend them off. In a small town, just out of the reach of Dage's affairs; there lived a boy name Archaeus. A strong and potentially filled aspiring warrior, dreamed of a time of peace, where farmers could farm without fear, and towns people could roam the streets without feeling like prey to the heir of Miltonius. His father, an out-casted Knight under King Vesek Dahlin, had trained his son as often as he could. Archaeus loved the training sessions, for it was the only time he could spend with his father. Varulven, Archaeus's father, was the head knight in the royal guard of the Dahlin family. Before Archaeus was born, in the great dimensional war (A war between King Vesek and Miltonius), King Vesek's son, Sepulture, had been captured by an archfiend assassin. Varulven had failed to retrieve the King's son, where he was sentenced to death. But because the kind had favored Varulven, he had spared him to a life of solitude in the outer kingdom, where he would start a family. Archaeus, like his father, had great skill and had shone much promise. The King had seen this promise, as Varulven had made a plea to the king to have his son in the noble army. Seeing this great skill, he had accepted. for the next few year Archaeus had been trained by the Noble guard, but Miltonius had his eye on him. Seeing the benefits of a personal very well trained guard (Not that he needed it) he put together his best soldiers. Although the archfiends of choice showed incredible skill, Miltonius had still wanted Archaeus. Seeing this, Dage had grown jealous. To prove himself better than this human, Dage had challenged the now of age Archaeus to a Duel. Naturally this duel was to the death. Seeing as though Dage could not really die, since he was not mortal, he was confident in his victory. Seeing this as his chance to prove his worth as well, Archaeus had accepted. Although he was immortal, Dage had lost, and pitifully returned to the underworld. Five years later, Miltonius had drawn a plan to lure Archaeus into the underworld, for he still wanted him in his personal guard. He told Archaeus he would turn him immortal for defeating his personal apprentice. Archaeus, who had grown personally attached and loyal to his king, had saw this as an opportunity to serve his king and his descendants until he was slain. For born mortal can only be given immortality from age and sickness, not a slain death. But the king saw through this, and disproved. But Archaeus, having proven himself in battle many times and was fixated on this offer and the thought of eternal servitude to his kingdom, had gone anyways. Miltonius had given him this promised immortality, but had enslaved his mind. although Archaeus was incredibly adept mentally, he was no match for the god, Miltonius. Archaeus for years had bettered Miltonius's armies and trained for a solid decade. But the king, who saw Archaeus as a friend, had sent multiple rescue missions; all of which had been unsuccessful. But one, had almost been; this made Miltonius uncomfortable. He sealed his Personal guard into a deep sleep, in a chamber deep beneath the underworld, guarded by a gatekeeper. Dage had grown incredibly jealous by this point, and far more skilled and powerful than before. The king, grieved by this loss of a friend, and soon to die with no heir, had been visited by Dage. Dage had promised Sepulture and Archaeus returned if King Vesek would help overthrow Miltonius. Miltonius could have crushed The Dahlin's kingdom at any point in time, but had only prolonged the war out of boredom and entertainment reasons. But with the power and help of Dage, the victory of The Dahlin kingdom was ever so slightly possible. But in order to win, King Vesek had to kill his soldiers, and revive them as undead. King Dahlin had not approved of this. But by this point, Sepulture had been returned, and had seen the promise of this option. In which, he had expressed to Dage. Thus, King Vesek Was murdered, and Sepulture crowned. Those who weren't fortunate enough to escape had been killed and revived as undead. Although, one third of the kingdom escaped, there was still enough to have a sufficient undead army. But, this army wasn't anywhere near close enough to challenge Miltonius. Sepulture knew this and had withdrawn early in the new dimensional war. Miltonius learning of Dage's new loyalties, had thrown Dage into a sub Dimension, where he would wait to return to this dimension. Although he had found a way to half return, he still was powerful enough to raise his legion. And in this Sub-dimension, his Legion grew, and so did his power. Miltonius had put his Warrior's on alert, but had not awoken them. Thousands of years in the future, where Sepulture had been semi-reincarnated, the one third of the kingdom that had escaped had grown and formed under king Alteon, and Drakath had thrown himself into the picture; Miltonius had undergone his change into an even more powerful Nulgath. But the gatekeeper was not aware, he had thought Nulgath had been drawn out of another dimension and had overthrown Miltonius, Where he awakened these Archfiend Guard to wreak Havoc on the world and underworld, and bring back Miltonius. You, Hero, must Defeat this Guard before they destroy Everything and help them realize that their king, Miltonius IS Nulgath. The Fate of the world once again rests on YOUR shoulders. * Ownership rights are to ArtixEntertainment and Vladmireguy3/Bigwoop3 (Vesek Dahlin/Matthew Parker)* *Story Created By Vladmireguy3/Bigwoop3 (Vesek Dahlin/Matthew Parker)*
