Idk if this has either been suggested before, or if this is even in the right section of this forum.

But does anyone but me think the Azrael Gun's Forced Strike should be unblockable? As in the strike the opponent delivers, being unblockable, that is.
Because god is it annoying when people use the azrael gun in hope for a block. That's not exactly the way this core was meant to be used, I think?

Well, the gun's meant to force your opponent to strike, right? Not get a free block. Shouldn't matter whether or not a BH smoke screens or if a TM/CH malfunctions.

@ Martinsen5

When the gun was made it was made for this purpose to force a strike, and possibly get a block in an otherwise situation where you couldn't.

quote:

The sidearms come with Azrael's Will, which overwhelms the target with an uncontrollable urge to strike with a normal attack. This gives the owner of the sidearm an opportunity to block and avoids guaranteed unblockable damage from skills and weapons.

Oh okay well if it was intended to be used that way, then it can't be changed as people were told this is what their money would give them. Nevermind.

I find the fact that it is unblockable makes it more strategic and use.

Also, I'm a focus BM right now (with frost shards) and I personally find that energy shot is actually very useful compared to azrael's will on my build. So, shouldn't we just nerf the certain specialized aspects of the builds that abuse the core to make it overpowered for that single build?

Why not just make the effect applyable? Like how you would use a shield on yourself. You don't damage the opponent, you don't gain rage, you just activate the effect.

@Dual Thrusters, I did think of the same thing once, and I'm sure there will be some kind of change once it's out for everyone.

Because it's giving your opponent free rage points, a free strike, and isn't even that effective on the already numerous strength builds out there.
