I'm just curious, why can't I delete my posts in the ED forums? I have an option to do so in the AQW and MQ forums though.

 Post deletion privileges are limited to only a few boards.

The Edit button should be a proper alternative. ^^

 If there is a post you feel that has to be deleted, you can always contact an ED archknight and request it to be deleted.

 Encouraging people to spam and break the rules is not acceptable. Editing your post to say <please delete> only creates spam and makes you look guilty for posting something you shouldn't. Please do not advise people to edit their posts in a way to promote spam. You are only getting them in trouble for spamming the boards.

Like Therril said, contact a moderator or an AK assigned to that board to have a post deleted.
