I am testing a 5 focus with max hybird,
Stuff that is bad about it.

1. I don't like that when I get malfunction, I put hybird on and it gives me less armor in tech or when I get smoked and it does that again except with less armor in dex. I don't get why it makes sense
at all, I think it's a problem.

I don't see why it does that?
Is it supposed to happen?
Is it fair?
Because I spend 29 energy and it's not ok for this to happen.

Many of my friends are mercenary's and they also dislike that.

Yeah hybrid pretty useless right now. A lot of the passive have been nerfed atm. This includes BL too (I mean 30 energy at max really?)

Way to high energy cost for too little benefits

I really dislike hybird right now because of that.
I guess a Strength build is what i'll stick to for now.

im using hybrid im my tank build =)
i agree that a debuff SHOULDNT affect it, but it isnt thaaaat bad. it is useful 2v2, and i use it in 1v1 before they debuff me, or vs people with tec based attacks( cos it super buffs my resistance)

It is cost too much. 29 energy. (My personal opinion)


It is work only high defence now. It is problem now. Debuffs affect too much this skill now.

Sometimes opponent using debuff to me. I lost my defence (about 10-20 def/res) and i gain about 2-5 def/res when i using hybrid armor.
(depend what debuff the using)


Suggestions

I think this skill can be free.

Or at least much cheapier to cost.

Or this can give 45% both defence (15% more). Now give 30% max.

Or it last 5 turn. Now this skill last 3 turn.

REMEMBER
This is only way how to mercenary can be rising defence.

I like the suggestion about making it free because if you think of it, Battery is free and gives massive energy back and mercenary should be free to give defense and resistance.
29 energy cost is way to much for the defence/resistance it gives, I think it should be free or max hybird should cost 15 energy or less.

i think it should do something more interesting: like a % damage reduction on you, but you deal less damage with primary/gun/aux.

so at max, you take 50% less damage, but deal 30% less damage. this would be a free skill.

This coming from a guy with "deal with it" poison bot as his avatar, anyways. As a player who typically sported high str/v high hp builds I also feel that the emphasis on defense has been severely dropped. When it took some careful planning and repetition of fighting the same type of tanking build and time, now I can simply bulldoze over them. This was a major step back for tanky build and a step forward for I have 150 support, i'll just aux you and artillery you to death.

Support mercenary is not that hard for me to beat, My bunker build still works, it's just a little different now with the active hybird. You never needed to be rude about it.
