I feel that shadow arts affect should be moved from 3 turns to 4 turns, possibly even 5. Most of the other abilities last 4 turns, reflex boost, plasma armor, mineral armor, etc. And they can be considered considerably stronger than shadow arts even if shadow arts is at full capacity. Do you agree with this? Why or why not. You don't see shadow arts being used that often... or at all really.

I like the animation. :D Turning the character black is really cool. But yeah, I think that it should be 4.

    Well lets look at it this way. Say you're facing a dex mage caster and you get the first turn. You could either throw up an energy shield, or use shadow arts giving you a 28% damage reduction. The mages moves do, lets say 75 damage. Which would be better to use? A level 10 shadow mage reduction and costing 29 energy makes the attacks only deal 17.4 less damage, or throwing up the level 1 energy shield which would give you 16 resistance and cost only 11 energy, costing much less and giving almost the same protection. I know that wasn't the best analogy, but I hope you can see my point that if its affect is going to be this low on damage impact, it should at least last longer.

    perhaps give it less damage reduction, but an increased chance to block, and deflect.

    SA was already buffing luck, and that was a bad idea.

    Gearz, yet we're missing one crucial fact about SA vs. Shields, it's the rage gain. You put up a Shield, they get more rage points back. You put up SA, they deal less damage and still get the same amount of Rage back - well, the difference after SA's effect.
    You do realise I'm suggesting reduced EP cost, right? 20 EP for Level 10 SA is my suggestion, which is lower than a maxed Shield, although a bit more than low/mid Shield with decently trained stat (i.e. Level 3 Matrix with 50-60 Support).

    15 energy for max shadow arts would be more reasonable because it isnt worth pouring 10 skill points into right now.

    Just because nobody uses shadow arts does not mean it is weak and needs a buff. Nobody uses it because people just copy builds
    and never try new builds. Shadow Arts is a strategical skill and situational.

    i think it needs a 2% buff.

    not sure if it is but the amount of dmg reduced should not add to rage.
    also i would agree it needs an extra turn it's no match for any other armor skill currently neither in power nor duration.

    how i think it should be:
    if he hits 50 base it will be reduced to 38 and he only gets 33 rage points that your armor is 30. , and he would end up with 8 dmg , and this lasts for 4 turns.

    the cost is fine since it can't be debuffed with azreals.
    just make it worth the cost , it's a tier 4 skill it should have high cost and good effect as the requirement is too high too.

    Have you ever tried using this skill? Even at level 10 the affects are hardly worth it.
