don't argument away my argument look into it through. its pvp but the problem is higher levels trample lower levels because higher levels achived more points in their build than lower levels. their are always predators for the newbies so the higher levels makes the game too difficult for more players to stay and have fun. I propose duels based on 90% of using your brain and increased duel play turns for more fun more strategy/tactical. This also helps for releases because more turns enables you to do more things and after all its epic duel. atleast when the newbies lose they will know its not the hopeless level and points differences but the way they play.

counter argument:
the build that is the culprate and even if you somehow make a build that will work out it won't do much and since they have more points they will make a more powerful build until it reaches a standstill of the higher level having the ultimate builds.

If this were to go about my suggestion would be that in combat players start off with 0 mana then slowly gain a given amount overtime. manna each turn will give points each turn that could be converted into skills for the enability to use the skills in battle. while the more efficient and powerful and tactical one's strategy is the more likely she/he can win and hopfully luck could help or not. for the record poison at best should 5 and cannot be cured unless the player has an antidote this should be applied when duel turns are lengthen. weaken poison but make it last until the player attends to it. make it not heal that cures it but something special by itself to counteract with poison to make it stop.

point is
don't let higher points in stat build discourage newbies its how you duel that let them think oh i could of won if i went about if I did this. increase the turns it would increase the amount of strategy and allow releases for each turn. epic duel is just primary weapon higher level and pets and hopless. hey invite new players make releases that they want. make epic duel epic duel.

never the less it is still not motivating and for the record i don't mean to make the motivation any less its still there but we need strategy in the game more than just attacking and doing small tactics here and there. the fin nest games consist of a lot of tactics and even if it were less motivating which i dought it would be a very small price to pay.

If I'm understanding this right, you want fights to be much more strategy and skill-based, and advantages through more levels is minimal?

Hmm, but the problem is level 34s were having too much of an underdog first turn advantage, and this might happen again, although I guess it wouldn't be as easy since underdog was a huge advantage.

I have mixed feelings on this cause it might make leveling up seem very insignificant and actually turn players away from reaching the level cap or playing any further once they reach the higher echelons of the game.

I want the same thing as well as in strategic games, but I have just resently released by them doing this they discourage the younger audience as it becomes to difficult for them.



What would be amazing is if they created 2 types of servers with difficulty, one more relaxed and easy and the other has viable complex strategies and builds etc.

IIRC when the staff nerfed free damage (Primary, gun and aux) by 2 points in damage, nerfed crits by making them ignore 1/3 less than before, as well as making the extra damage 1 less at the min ad 2 less at the max as well as nerfing offensive debuffs they did this in the hopes of making duels longer.

Also I don't support this idea. Not everyone wants long duels all the time. Forcing players to have longer duels also kills variety since you are killing one type of build for another.

Also this idea is unfair to higher level players. Those players had to work to get where they are, why should they be punished for it? This would upset higher level players.

Plus if they put this into play the problem that is causing this to happen won't be fixed. You need to get to the actual root of the problem to fix all the branch off problems that are being caused which is what this problem is.

The reason why lower level keep fighting higher levels is because there aren't enough players to go around. When that happens the engine searches for someone to fill that spot which can be either a higher or lower level player. if you want to get rid of this problem remove the level range and by doing so everyone will fight a player of their level. By doing that lower level players won't fight higher levels because there won't be a range to make them fight them.
