Can we please be given the privilege to delete our own posts? Many of us double post by accident. Sometimes even I wish I could take back what I said before anyone reads it >> And just about every other AE forum lets us delete our posts.

I might get replies like to PM a Moderator, but really, it takes quite a while until they do so.

The decision whether or not to allow post deletions in the ED section of the forums is at the discretion of the ED Forum Head Moderator and based on current forum needs. While it's not intended as a punitive measure, accidental double posting and rash words you'd like to take back are not compelling reasons to change the policy. If anything, they highlight the need for some Members to use more discretion while posting. As this is a moderating decision that is not open for debate, I'm going to lock this thread. You may of course PM Lord Barrius and politely make your request. Thanks for understanding!
