As The New Year Approaches For Epicduel, And We Look Ahead And The Changes To Come, With Hope For A Better Tomorrow... We Must Address Factions. The Current Problem Is That Factions Have No "Value" In Game. There Is Absolutely No Difference Between A Level 3 Faction And A Level 12. This Is The Biggest Flaw In Epicduel's Overall Scheme. As Factions Are The Life Blood That Runs Delta V... From Influence, To Daily Champions, And The War Itself. So Many Of Us Have Founded Successful Factions That Have No Real Purpose Outside Of Bragging Rights. I'd Love To See Some Actual "Perks" And In Game Bonuses/Advantages/Rewards For Those Factions That Have Helped Build And Sustain Epicduel. There Are Many Ways To Do This, Including Very Small % Based Bonuses To Experience And Credits For Those Members Of A Higher Ranking Faction Then A Lower One. For Example, After Level 10 Is Reached, All Faction Members Receive A 3% Base Bonus To Experience And Credits Earned In Battle. This Would Improve By 1% Each Faction Level Higher. So, A Member Of A Level 12 Faction, For Example, Would Receive 5% More Experience And Credits Per Battle. Enough To Reward Long Time Established Factions, But Not Unbalance Gameplay. It Would Place Importance On The Success And Longevity Of A Faction's Success And Reward Those Players Who Have Worked Hard And Stayed Loyal. It Would Also Prevent Faction Jumpers From Leaving To The Latest New Faction On The Scene. You Want To Leave A Level 12 Established Faction For A New Leaderboard Dominating Level 7 Faction...? Now, You Would Have To Consider The Pros And Cons In Doing So. There Are Obviously Many Other Options And Rewards To Consider With Factions, Including Special Weapons/Armors/Bikes Being "Unlokced" From A Faction's Level Rank For It's Players. Like A Faction War Chest Set. So Many Possibilities To Actually Give Worth To Epicduel's Factions. Let's Hope Something Like This Is Considered, Moving Forward. ~ Buffy
