I think it is great how we can finally see the opponents equipped robot in game.

This begs the question should they take it a step further and let as see the other active cores equipped?

I personally think we should.

And I think it's a great start to finally make robots visible.

Opinions?

P.S when I say visible I mean it states the robot name in the inventory, you can't actually see it constantly unless it's attacking xD.

^ It's better to surprise people with a wacky strategy then to surprise them with random unkown factors.

@ Remorse

How about a core that would allow this happen for those who want to see bots, instead of just making them all visible? This way those who want to know the bots can use this core to see them where as those who don't can keep their unknown surprises?

You should be able to know what robot your opponent is using. There is no viable reason why you shouldn't (my opinion).

^agreed and the same thing should happen for active cores.

@ Mother1

Perhaps this core idea could be used to see the opponents active cores.

After all people who like the surprises still have plenty through the unknown cores.

Robots are an equippable slot, so you should be able to see them no question. Cores I am pretty indifferent about.

remorse@

it got a nerf on the ammount drained aswell, a great nerf;
the only thing ik is that whit 100-110 tech the skill drains 34-35 ep at max.

enought to make the tm the op class... :/

^ Ah thanks for the update :)

good to know that something hopefully impactful nerfed them.

As for mages, they should seriously consider returning assimilation to how it started at.

Or at least give all free costing skills a new type of cost like, stamina.

@ Remorse

The only difference between the old assimilation and this one is that this one scales with strength where as before it was fixed since they already did return the energy regain back to 50%. However the problem with the old assimilation is that even at max it barely drained anything which some players complained about.

@ Mother
It barely drained anything but it was still one of the most useful skills in the game.

Mages shouldn't have a major drain that was the downside to have great regains at a point in time...

Being able to do an attack and drain enough to stop a incoming skill made assimilation great, it doesn't need to drain more then 10, because you don't need to drain more then 10 to stop certain skills.

Having it 20+ means people can drian more then one and have HUGE regain potential which is just crazy and silly and it becomes less of a strategy tool and more of an obvious OP tool used for draining without thinking since it so powerful you don't even need to consider the need to.

I don't see how people could complain about the old assim, it was on of the best skills in my eyes and it DEFINITELY didn't need a buff on such massive scale.

@ Nexus,

Would love to hear your opinion on it :)

this time i really must to agree whit remorse, the static granade got nerfed to 30% back and got an hit of 100 energy on the drain;
and what happend to tm? nothing.... i belive that asimilation should get a similiar nerf aswell, like 10-11 points on the total drain.
my only dream is to see all classes aviable again, the work on bh isnt tht bad, now merc and ch are a good choice again, but tm needs to get a valid nerf aswell.

i dont care of my current class i just wont to see something similiar to balance

@ remorse

Well people did complain about it, and it was even shown in the design notes when they first changed the skill. Me personally I found the skill useful back in delta when running across those exact energy builds however, I hardly see those anymore.

^The new OP Assimilation, and the static skills, (all free costing energy drains) and cores.

Is the exact reason WHY we don't see carefully calculated energy builds anymore.

And what we can all take from that is the whole energy system now is messed up, and in great need of repairing.

@mother
assimilation+battery backup is a very ridiculus combo, i would agree whit you if we still had passives;
if something is less abused it doesnt mean that is less broken, it may just be harder to use.

How was not seeing the Bots a surprise? Half the ED population at level cap was/is using Android and an almost equal amount of the other % was using the Poison bot. There was no surprise at all

Visible robots is a bad idea that takes more strategy out of the game. While they're two bots being abused that still doesn't mean you can forget about those that don't use them.

I know, I don't use those 2, but the majority of the lvl 33s and Up do.

@ Calogero

With the new feature they added you be surprised at how many people actually have the bunny bots equipped or the new hawk bot. But yeah I see a lot of people equipping the infernal android since it the best thing for their credits. Not to mention the staff putting the new bots in game but making them varium only didn't help with this either.
