So if this went into play critical heal would make it so hatching rush only removes 30% of your heal instead of 50% when under this situation?

Yes, that's exactly what would happen. Currently it halves your heal and then multiplies the halved heal by 1.2.

I see nothing wrong with this idea myself either. My only concern is if the staff will actually see this idea, and give this core this buff since it is the only real counter to hatching rush.
