Kuli-ana Location: Dive In Quests given None Shops owned None Dialogue Kuli-ana: Greetings Hero, and welcome to my home. I have been waiting for you for a very long time. You have done well to come this far. Kuli-ana: I know of the challenges you have faced thus far, and I have an idea of what awaits you when your task with the gates is complete. Kuli-ana: That is when the real work begins now. Here and now, however, it falls upon me to test you. Kuli-ana: You might have noticed some discomfort, perhaps even a reduction in your overall health. This is to be expected at this depth. Kuli-ana: Despite your ability to breath freely here in the depths, water pressure this deep is still great. Kuli-ana: To win through here you will need to demonstrate your endurance. I have brought several heroes here to assist me. Kuli-ana: You must fight your way to the gate. Good luck. Kuli-ana: Your skill and endurance serve you well. It is this kind of trait that will help you in the long fights, when the chance to rest becomes slim. Kuli-ana: There are a number of traits that we test, and each one interacts. Kuli-ana: Skill in fighting, intelligence, and endurance all combine to create a more powerful being. Kuli-ana: Your great skills will serve you well in the future. From what I have seen of your honor, you shall do well. Kuli-ana: Despite our belief in our security at the depths of the ocean, Isathaara came to our underwater city, much to our surprise. Kuli-ana: The destruction wrought was beyond belief. Many people, trapped in cages of ice, were lost. It was this event which set things into motion. Kuli-ana: The Avatar of Water, who had long maintained a neutral state on the issue, realized the danger and chose to act. Kuli-ana: It was she who proposed that each would protect their own domain. The gates were commissioned, and placed across Lore... Kuli-ana: ... both above and below the surface. The most secure gate was to be the water gate. Kuli-ana: This gate, at the greatest depths of the ocean would be doubly protected, both by water and pressure. Kuli-ana: Once, a great city, a center of culture and learning, towered above the waves here. The city was mostly destroyed by a volcanic eruption. Kuli-ana: This temple is all that remains. Well, that and a LOT of statues. Kuli-ana: I don't know exactly. They have been here for ages. Well before I was made a Guardian by the Avatar of Water. Kuli-ana: I wish I could tell you more, but I can't tell you what I don't know.
