Well They Weren't Really Addressing Anything That Was Negative... Like Decreasing Server Pop Numbers Or Balance Issues.
It Would Be Nice For Them To Discuss All The Long Time (Older Phase) Players Who Have Left And Why... But They Were Concerned About The Current Player Base And The New War System.
We've Been Here So Long MirageD, I Think We Sometimes Forget That There Are Dozens Of New Players Starting Out Each Week Who Have No Idea Who You And I Even Are, LOL.
To Them, This Game Is A New Experience.
The Staff Were Trying To Focus On The Positives And Answer Questions Regarding The War 2.0, Which Was The Main Topic.
Believe Me, They Heard Your Complaint And What You Were Pointing Out.
As For A Summary Of The Live Chat... The War Will Continue To Evolve And After The Dread Plains Are Claimed... Fortune City Is Next!
Charfade Was A Great Hostess And Titan Was Very Talkative As Well. Mecha Mario Did A Great Job Of Addressing Some Of Our Questions To The Staff.
The Biggest News I Got Out Of The Live Chat Was The Cooldown Time Between Map Areas Transitions... Which Is Very Interesting.
It Will Really Make The War Event Feel Like It's A Feature That Is Ongoing, But Will Have It's High And Low Activity Periods. So, The Time Between May Be More 'Normal" Battle Mode Time, Before The Next War Wave Begins.
I Thought The Staff Was Very Open To Our Feedback And Suggestions. And You Can Tell They Were Reading Everything, Even if They Didn't Actually Respond To It All.
So, Even if It Wasn't Acknowledged, I'm Sure A Lot Of The Complaints Were Noted Or At Least Heard.
There Were Some Things That I Brought Up As Well, That Didn't Get Addressed, Such As Faction "In Game" Value, Reward And Perks To Level/Unlock With Each Increasing Rank, Instead Of Ranks Simply Being Bragging Rights.
All In All, It Was A Great Chat And A Nice Opportunity To Interact With The Staff And Feel Like A Community Again. And A Rare Chance To Get Both Sides Communicating.
Here's Hoping We Can Do This More Often As We All Want The Game To Survive And Grow And Be Better For Everyone Involved, Otherwise We Wouldn't Be Here.
But Yes, MirageD... With All You Have Accomplished And Put Into Epicduel (And This Forum)... I Would Hope That You Would Be Appreciated And Treated With Respect By The ED Community.
