Now I am making this suggestion because of my personal opinion I think a 17 year old can be just as mature as an 18 year old and sometimes more mature. I think if you allow an opportunity to let players apply for moderator again, let the ages of 17+ apply.

It would be a great opportunity to apply for mod if the age requirement was lowered. I've seen many players who would make a great moderator them self. There is most likely a great reason why the age requirement is set to 18 but maybe experiment with it and try lowering it to 17.
I will not be surprised if this post gets negative comments. This is my personal opinion. Thank you for reading.

It's not about opinions here, but legal requirements. They don't think "Oh, people are mature at 18 - not 17 - so let's make it 18, to be a Moderator!". It's the legislation.

Besides, if you truly have vested an interest in helping the EpicDuel community then waiting an extra year before being able to apply shouldn't be that big a deal. In any case, there hasn't been a call for moderators that I'm aware of and since those are done on a need-based business, you'd have nowhere to send an application...

As Trans mentioned, the issue is based on legal requirements. 18 years of age was picked because it's the legal age when people are recognized as adults. The requirement won't be adjusted regardless of maturity.
