That core is a little underpowered now and is a waste for anyone who does not prefer f5 builds. So, by making the core +30 damage ( I personally prefer 50) instead of 10, it will encourage people to use f5 builds.

quote:

As I've said in the other thread, about increasing the cores output: I like this idea, but everyone who wields the Omega core already
has a good advantage in battle, ( Plus 10 extra damage on their robot. )
So, I don't really see this being implanted.

Not Supported.

Anybody who enjoys and uses a 5 focus build already has a disadvantage, people who've bought this promo are already lucky enough to
do 10 extra damage on their robot, there is no need for the core to increase more than 10 damage.

Don't know how to take off the quote, but the above stands apart.

how about it increases the duration of the enemy's sidearm being disabled by 1 extra turn. This way no build will influence its usage and the core will in general be useful for any class and build.

Make it +10% ...
Flat damage boosts are just wrong.

I like the idea of +1 cool down thou.

Even without the Omega Weapons, an Omega Yeti already has 10 more damage than the standard 170 damage robots. Any more than the extra 10 would be a little too broken.

@Dill:

It does 10 more damage to balance it out because its passive is somewhat situational and requires a lot of tactical implementation to use. It simply being the highest base damage bot isn't enough justification for it having a really bad core to synergize poorly with it.

There's also the option of the omega passive core not even having anything to do with yetis.

Which is a fairly suitable option, although what it would be is beyond me.

= when it's time for the devs to step in and get creative, because more than half of the cores so far are not creative and are clones of previous cores. The most creative core released so far was probably hatchling rush, because even though improbability gate has the HP-based damage boost, it's still just a damage boost that almost always isn't even worth the energy spent.

But something about the improbability gate is both absurd and funny at the same time. Cores that could increase stats when you're in a pinch (sort of like what pokemon starters get) would be an interesting addition; if I remember correctly, there is a core that does that for healing moves.

Omega core should boost the damage on all robots by 10% .. not just the useless yeti bot .

That sounds like a good idea rui. I don't have the omega gear but I hate seeing some players with that Gear knowing that they have a useless core. After all, lets be honest, omega yeti is a nice bot but it's 1 use special core is pretty useless unless you have a partner in 2v2 with ballistic bunny bot.
