Should the game be adapted to suit the needs of people with visual and/ or audio difficulties?

Visual: Color blind, etc.
Audio: Visually impaired.

I have few friends on this game who are color blind, and can't tell the difference between energy and physical weapons due to them being blue-green color blind. So yes, I think it should accommodate them. I think physical should be red and energy blue. Would be more helpful to these players.

Audio? This game doesn't really have audio in it so... I guess not?

Yea I agree with the above. I'm not color blind myself but I can imagine it would be pretty annoying. ^_^

I am green-red color blind and seeing the green and blue icon outlines, i know quite well how green-blue people are feeling.
I do have problems with both, green (actually only with dark green on dark backgrounds) as well as red (for example "looked at" irem red on an orange background - i like space fight simultaions and have quite the fun at times when i forgot to change the red crosshair for enemies and fight in space around an orange sun ;) ), but with the blue outline still present and considering the different color schemes of ED, i could happily live with the green->red change.
