Well we have a quote button, a bold button, an italics button, and underline button and all that. Then how come we don't have a spoiler button when posting? It should also make the jobs of an AK much easier if they didn't have to continuously remind us what code to use for spoilers.

Just think it should be added.

I totally agree. I've seen people make typos typing

[spoiler][/spoiler],

and thus defeating the entire purpose. Plus, it can just be a pain to type it out sometimes.

I don't see any inherent problems with this, and agree completely. Quite often I've seen new members be a bit confused on the spoiler box, it's easy to learn in five seconds, but a button would be handy. This is also helpful considering that the spoiler is longer than simply "i" or "b" or even "quote" which all have buttons. Still though, it's more of a convenience thing than something really necessary.

It might be more of a convenience than a necessity, but there are many mistakes one can make while typing out [spoiler and [/spoiler]. Such as simply putting the slash in the wrong direction or switching two letters. A simple mistake could ruin an entire release or story chapter for an unsuspecting reader.

Plus I don't know why this hasn't been done already. I know next to nothing about coding but I doubt a spoiler button is too much of a project.

I believe this has been brought up on a few occasions. Part of the problem lays with the engine the forums are run on. It is not a feature of that system and they have modified it to the point of they can;t upgrade it.
