well not quite smashing but half decent I'd hope
I've recently returned to df after not playing since I was around say.....10 years old (I am now 16). And boy howdy there sure are a myriad of new characters and story to keep up with, I'm currently in the middle of the storm war part of the game. As my art skills have drastically developed since my childhood I've created something I've always thought of when I was a kid but never had the skills to create. My idea of what sepulchure would look like sans mask and ridiculously hard to draw armor. I think I kind of made him too pretty but that's what years of only drawing cute girls does to you and gravelyn has to have gotten her looks from somewhere amirite?????

So uhhhhhh ravenloss saga was fun,,,, on to the water orb (the girl in that last panels my hero)
tomix and riadne were thirstier than waterelves in the sandsea

So forgive me if this isn't the right place to post things like this but I made an oc for a fantasy rp and I feel like she'd fit in with the general vibe of the df art forum sooooo

 Sepulchure looks... simultaneously cute and revolting at the same time. I got a similar vibe from Caitiff.
(Psst, if you want to make characters more masculine, give them flatter chins, defined jawlines, and sometimes cheekbones-- though that generally makes characters look older. Seppy has some cheekbones.)
The comic does capture the Hero's attitude pretty well, while it's also pretty funny. I wouldn't mind seeing it in a more refined (and maybe coloured) form.

 That Hero/Tomix/Riadne/Baby dragon one is most certainly hilarious. You have a nice style.

@Shiny_Underpants Thanks for the words of advice for drawing dudes, I'll try implementing them in the future! Things that are both cute and creepy are kind of my thing so I'm looking forward to learning about this caitiff character! If I have some time among all of my future planned drawing I'll try and see if I can line and color the comic in the future.

@Elryn I'm glad you liked the comic and thanks for the compliments! I've tried a whole bunch of things in order to get the picture to show up but it never seems to work so I guess I'll just link directly to the post :P

So I made a whole buncha new oc designs but I gotta know, does anyone here think I got same face syndrome??? Because I could use some opinions on how to improve if I do.... If you wann see it full sized for a better judgement head over to my DA version!!! fullsize sketch
