Ever since the Developers have taken away passives and replaced them with actives this game has gone very downhill. So just please please bring them back, why wont you listen to us? We cry, we plead, why cant we get what we want? aren't you supposed listen to the players? p.s Titan and charfade, thank you for blocking me on twitter very much appreciated, keep up the support!

Very true if I may say so my self. Passives made 5 focus possible and now its possible but you lose almost every battle unless you get super lucky and you rarley see focus builds all you see is strength builds, nothing else. It would also bring back quiet a few players if they did bring back passives. Besides aren't they supposed to listen to us and what we want? If so why did they do the complete opposite and take away passives.

Believe it or not it was the players of this forum who also suggested passives get replaced by active skills as well. Why? because for all builds they were a must have, and people thought passives were destroying variety. They figured with Actives you would have a choice on whether you used them or not without them being a disadvantage.

The only problem with said actives is that they never found away to remove the strain it put on energy. Remove that problem and Actives will be cool.

So they suggested it? Doesn't mean it was the right choice. There was a lot more diverse builds, now what builds can you do? STR.

@ ceyze

Problem was all of them had mandatory passives which those players didn't like. They didn't like the idea of being locked into mandatory passives or be at a disadvantage. Plus IIRC this idea was originally first suggested back in epic duel Gamma but wasn't possible back then so it was never implemented. Eventually it was suggested once again by the player base in a later phase and the staff did it.

The problem as I pointed out was massive energy strain which was caused by the following

1 making cores cost energy the week prior
2 making active skills cost energy without a source to relieve the pressure.

The reason strength builds are so popular is because they can run easily without energy due to strength having a unlimited source of damage output without cost (I am talking about strike) where as all the other builds don't and are bound to energy or cooldowns. Add this to the stress on energy and boom strength builds are in and the others are at a disadvantage.

I think...

1. Take away BM's ability to remove energy but replace it with a skill which synergizes just as well with their skill tree so the class doesn't fall off.
2. Take away BH's ability to recover energy
3. Take away Merc's ability to recover energy
etc...

essentially give energy flow control back to only certain specific classes, and in response buff/nerf multiple skills' energy costs as well as strength damage scaling. This will make classes more diverse and make energy flow-related skills less mandatory
