Loads Of Features!
The sun is out, schools nearing an end, summers coming soon and today we're going to be bringing you a release that will keep you guys busy for a long time while we work on a much bigger project! First off on our list.....CHEEVOS! Several new cheevos have been released to encourage players to fight and will finally prove who is the greatest EpicDueler of them all!
Achievements
First off we'd like to introduce kill streak achievements. Want more bragging rights? Think your build is better than the rest? Then prove it by attaining the Demi-God Achievement! This tiered cheevo based on wins streaks Tiers will go:
5 wins (novice:200 rating points)
10 wins (Lucky: 500 rating points)
25 wins (Warrior: 1000 Rating points)
100 wins (Beast: 2000 Rating Points)
150 wins (Legend: 2500 Rating Points)
200 wins (Demi-God: 3000 Rating points)
MORE PVP CHEEVOS!
2) Cheevo Name: Whew. Description: Win a match with one hp left (200 rating points)
3) Cheevo Name:That was easy: Win a match with full hp (500 rating points)
4) Cheevo Name: Ravager: Win a match by the second round (500 rating points)
5) Cheevo Name: Sentinel : Win a 2v2 match without your partner sustaining any damage (750 rating points)
6) Cheevo Name: Clutch : Win a battle while in critical levels of HP by stunning then following through with a rage (250)
7) Cheevo Name: umad?: Deny rage 3 times in 1 fight. Denying rage counts if the target has full rage, but you drain their rage before they can expend it. (250)
8) Cheevo Name: Tenacity: Engage and win in a battle that lasts over 35 turns. To fulfill the requirements of this cheevo, no turns can be skipped and it must be completed in a random PvP match. (500)
9) Cheevo Name: Double kill: Kill both of your opponents at the same time in a two vs two battle or Juggernaut battle: 1,000 rating points
10) Cheevo Name: Double jeopardy: Survive a two vs two battle with both you and your partner having under 25% health (Meaning both are on a knee): Rating 1,000 rating points
But we won't stop there, using your average build won't be good eough to be the first player to achieve these cheevos! You willneed to incorporate your ultimate skill in order to receive the highest tiered version of these next ones!
Cheevo Name: Massacred: Congrats you finished off your opponent using the ultimate skill Massacre for the first time: Rating 500 points
Cheevo Name: Supercharge slayer: Aren't you special you defeated your opponent with the ultimate skill supercharge for the first time: Rating 500 points
Cheevo Name: Surgical strike genocide: nice you fried your enemy with your ultimate skill surgical strike for the first time: Rating 500 points
Rating 2: 10 kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 1000 points
Rating 3: 25 kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 1500 points
Rating 4: 50 kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 2000 points
Rating 5: 100 kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 2750 points
Rating 6: 150 kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 3500 points
Rating 7: 200 Kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 4000 points
Rating 8: 500 kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 5000 points
Rating 9: 750 kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 7500 points
Rating 10: 1,000 kills with your ultimate skill: Rating 10,000 rating points
"But wait Charfade. That's awesome and all but the players who will be fighting will nearly all have one thing in common. A faction. Shouldn't there be faction based achievements to further drive players?" Of Course!

1) Cheevo Name: Scrub- Win 1 daily with your faction (5 rating points)
2) Cheevo Name: Lucky- Win 5 dailys with the same faction (250 rating points)
3) Cheevo Name: Loyalty- Win 15 dailys with the same faction (500 rating points)
4) Cheevo Name:Undying trust- Win 25 dailys with the same faction (1000 Rating points)
5) Cheevo Name: Everlasting Trust- Win 50 dailys with the same faction (2000 rating points)
TIERED FACTION WORLD DOMINATION CHEEVO
1) Cheevo Name: Champ For a Day- Win World Domination 1 time (125 rating points)
2) Cheevo Name: Returning Champion - Win World Domination 2 times (250 rating points)
3) Cheevo Name: Rising...- Win world Domination 10 times (500 rating points)
4) Cheevo Name: SuperPower- Win World Domination 25 times (1000 rating points)
5) Cheevo Name: Conquerors- Win World Domination 50 times (2000 rating points)
FACTION NON-TIERED CHEEVOS
1) Cheevo Name: Vini Vidi Vici- Win World Domination and ANY Daily on the same day (1500 rating points)
2) Cheevo Name: Wha..wha..whaa? - Win 1v1, 2v2, and Jugg on the same day (2500 rating points)
3) Cheevo Name: Mission Impossible- Win 1v1, 2v2, Jugg and World Dom on the same day (5000 rating points)
4) Cheevo Name: Who are you - Switch faction at least one time (5 rating points)
5) Cheevo Name: What are you - Switch alignments at least one time (5 rating points)
Oh and don't worry guys and gals, we know the game isn't only PVP based. For all you NPC'ers out there, get in on the fun!
1) Cheevo Name: Boss killer: Congrats you beat someone high up. Defeat your first boss NPC. 500 points
2) Cheevo Name: ruthless Slayer: Seems like someone has taken up a new hobby. killed 5 bosses. 1000 points
3) Cheevo Name: Leader destroyer: The bigger they are the harder they fall. killed 20 bosses . 1300 rating
4) Cheevo Name: Boss commando: Better sleep with one eye open or you might not wake up. killed 50 bosses. 1700 rating
5) Cheevo Name: General slaughterer: Not even the best of the best stood a chance against you. killed 100 bosses. 2200 rating
6) Cheevo Name: Genocide king: Blood and glory is the best spice of life. Killed 500 bosses. 3500 rating.
7) Cheevo Name: Cold blooded massacre: Ok, and I care for your safety why? Killed 1000 boss. 5000 rating

Well Charfade, that's quite a load! But guess what this Bounty Hunter is bringing to EpicDuel!? BOUNTY HUNTING! Let's go over the basics.
Since Epicduel is a community I've decided to implement "community" features that would be very influential to the game and that would keep you guys occupied while we work on big releases. Thus, I introduce to you the Message board! This board located in Central Station is literally a huge board with posts on it. You will be able to click on the board and have two choices. Either "Post" or "View Posts". If an individual selects the "Post" button they will have three categories to choose from: "Looking for faction", "Looking for ally for NPC" and "Looking for Challenge Partner". They simply click on and for a fee (so the board isn't over crowded) they are allowed to post on the board. For example, my Char name is NightWraith so if i choose "Looking for faction" and pay the fee then a post will be posted on the message board saying "NightWraith is looking for a faction! View Character Profile Here!" with a button linked to my char profile. Posts will have a 1 week time limit before being taken down however you could pay for a longer duration or simply repost with a fee. This will allow players to interact more and it'll be a simple fun thing for amusement.

The fun doesn't stop there! We're hoping to use this feature as a gateway to many other features that players can do for fun! And in-game now you can use this feature to place bounties on eachothers heads ! Who will own this "Bounty Collector" leaderboard. Let me explain how this is done! Along with those three options of "Looking for faction", "Looking for ally for NPC" and "Looking for Challenge Partner" there will be the option to "Set a bounty" on a certain player in the game whether it be a friend or foe. Once the button is clicked you enter the characters name upon whom you want to set a bounty on and you must pay a fee. Once the fee is paid and Bounty is submitted it is posted on the board and a message from the System goes into the Players mail that will say like "A bounty has been placed on your head!".
Now here's the twist. The fun doesn't end with tons of players gunning after this character to defeat him! Once you defeat the "Wanted" player you will automatically collect the Bounty along with a single "Bounty Collector Point" that is added towards your score on the "Bounty Collector Leaderboard". Two things can happen to the player who has a bounty on his or her head. The Player either loses a match and the bounty ends OR survives 5 pvp battles and is awarded one point on the "Bounty Survivor" leaderboard. After the player survives 5 matches, the bounty ends.

But that's not all guys! Your bounty points can go towards a Special NPC Bounty Shop held by moi where the players who survived a bounty or collected a bounty could use their points that they have acquired to purchase special in-game items!
Now the system will only allow 50 bountys to be placed per hour and, in order to limit abuse and Spam, placing bounties will be pretty cost-worthy however you will receive 1 rating point for each bounty you place (with a grand limit of 5,000 rating points). So log in and play now! Hows that Char?
Well well well. Trying to out-do the Demi-God are you? Then hows this for features. This release brings forth a hard mode on very NPC and Boss and we're not talking "kinda-hard". Most of these NPCS will be nearly unbeatable. But what's the catch? If you manage to beat the NPCS on hard mode (Ally links are only permissible with the NPCs that originally required ally links) you will acquire both a higher rating achievement and the ability to purchase that NPC as an ally in future Ally Boss Battles. But beware, Hard Mode includes double the HP, Triple the Strength, and Quadruple the energy! Your Potential NPC allys could be:
...and more! Including Saeva, Dravax, Slayer, Admin 10, Exile Leader, Elite Yeti, Captain Shoggoth, The LawMan, Gamma Guard, and, yours truly, me! The Demi-God. As time goes on we will release more bosses to be tamed by the most Epic Players. Bosses such as Dage and even Matrix. Be prepared to fail plenty of times!
Don't spend all of your time on this hard mode ! The team has created many other features to keep you guys busy! Keep reading!

Right now you get no rewards for doing dailies (solo, team, Juggernaut, WD). Starting today each player in a faction will receive a reward if said faction wins a Daily/World Dom.
Faction Daily Rewards: For the players
Credits: 2500
Personal Influence: 1000
WD Rewards: For the players
Credits: 5000
Personal Influence: 2500
3) Notebot will now have an option to show each player in the faction and their wins for that day and total wins they have done for the faction.
4) Toggle option to show % for your individual player and Faction leaders can see their factions %
5) Rank shops with rank armors that you can only access at that rank (Emperor, Warlord, Legend etc)
6) Vendbot at Faction HQ now accessible.
Where's the balance? Well we have decided that balance is an issue that needs excessive testing. So, rather than trying to incorporate fun and balance at the same time and only giving you guys enough features to keep you busy for a week, we have decided to overwhelm you with features now so we can dedicate a lot of our time to balance. Following this release will be weekly missions from Cinderella. In the mean time....have fun!!!!!
