Hi everyone! First of all, I'd like to explain what made me decide to start scoring these tracks. In my opinion, the soundtrack is one of the most effective ways to give a game its character, and since there are large sections of Dragonfable which aren't scored, I keep thinking of ideas as to how they could be developed. Anyways, I thought this would be a great opportunity to combine one of my passions with my favourite game- even though I don't have much experience in video game scoring. For no reason other than that I could think of a lot of ideas of what I could do with it and that it was almost completely bare of music, I decided to start with the Energy Orb quests.
I believe Varen6398 is already doing something along the same lines, so I'll try not to overlap with what he's already scored ;) .

You've nailed the feeling of Pipe Dreams, it sounds like it came straight out of the quest. Definitely have the right atmosphere for the Energy Orb and it really sounds great. ^^

I really like what you did with the alternate Oaklore theme. If it was in the game, maybe it could be played within the Oaklore tower/tree thing, while the main theme is played in the courtyard outside.
I've never used SounCloud before, but does it offer a way to see the music on a staff? I'd really like to play it on my instrument.

That's a good idea! You're right, it might suit the area inside the tower better than the area outside because of its more lively mood. Unfortunately, Soundcloud offers no way to display the music on a staff, but if you like I can post a PDF of the score on the thread :)

Finally finished my next composition! This one's been a while, between christmas and various things coming up just when I was thinking of making some more progress with it. This one's to go with the cutscene at the beginning of the Pachabel's Cannon quest in the Energy Orb chain. The gnomes sure know how to make light of an incredibly powerful Archmage invading! The piece is supposed have some loops in and be timed to go with the cannon firing, etc. I put in a few references to Pachabel's Canon as well. By all means have a listen, or play it with the cutscene if you want, although the timings will be a bit off. Here's a link to it on Soundcloud:
