Still wondering why can't they just stick to one formula and work on other things. Why treat it as 70 levels? Just treat it as 16 levels, make adjustments to the current mess and go up from there. Heck, this is open-beta phase and the parties, guilds and other common mechanics are still nowhere to be found. End-game contents isn't really top priority when it's still hasn't finish the development phase. Besides, can't say it'd be good for the game if the trend continue every time the level cap goes up. Imagine you spend entire weeks forcing yourself to grind hundreds of monsters on a boring and repetitive combat system to get to the next level and then the cap change and this new guy jump to your level in a few days; all the efforts that were wasted are now practically worthless and most casuals would just rage quit out of frustration, and since this game is marketed toward casuals that probably is not a good idea.
