Okay... lets see if I can come up with some names. If the structures are extracting something from the lake, that means the lake was already there, prior to everything. The falls feed the lake, but the lake itself seems to be THE important thing in the area. It could be called... Ancient lake? I guess it is okay. It fits, but it's kinda unoriginal? It seems to me the lake was formed by a crater, which got filled with water from nearby rivers. Maybe the purpose of the ruins had to do with what could have landed there? Some sort of energy emanating from a meteorite? But I don't really know the lore, so yeah. The tree creature seems to be just like a sentient tree, with a mouth and eyes. What is the mouth's purpose? Maybe it doesn't breathe like a plant, and that's what the mouth hole is for. I see where the name "Octotreegon" comes from. It really resembles an Octopus, and I think that's a good direction. Octreepod flows nicely, I think. Maybe Bloodleaf? It could be interesting if the red coloration was caused by minuscule veins, if the breathing is not done through Photosynthesis. Treekraken, Cephaleaf, Faelder(redleaf)
