Hear me out, have an open and understanding mind when you read this...
So when weapons like Celtic cleaver and Azrael (sword) core came out they were unique because of their cores which offered an additional bonus than vendbot cores. About a year ago I think lucky strike granted an extra 5% and celtic granted 6% or something like that. But the reason it was like this is because Celtic was a unique weapon that you really had to pay varium for and so was azraels.
Well both weapons are in game right now, for credits. The only thing you have to do is just wait till the year comes around a grab it. Like anyone can do it, even a level one.
So what I am suggesting is that instead of forcing players to use these weapons and suffer from not being able to express themselves with the countless art styles in this game,, why not release Celtic weps core and Azraels Core in game at vendbot for an additional 10k credits/500 varium, or even just strictly make them varium since it's allowing one to have personal customization over their gear?
I mean the weapons are coming back anyway, and they always will and devs keep making new coreless weapons, and you always will. In ED's current state its either suffer your freedom of customization/personalization for a single weapon, or sacrifice the bonus that weapon gives for freedom to express yourself. That doesn't seem right to me, but im only one person so please comment below.
The weapon will still maintain its art integrity for those who decide to use it still. Just players can customize themselves without sacrificing 1/2/3%.
Wasn't sure if this would affect balance but it has to do with weapons, %s, and cores so I decided to place it here.
The suggestion for those who don't like reading a lot: Sell celtic weps core and azrael (primary) core at vendbot for either varium or 10K more credits
