I think the energy now it isnt enough, its the problem of some skills and builds. Since cores need energy and the passive were changed into active, there are a high requeriment of energy. The skills are ok, I guess its fair that a max massacre requieres 600 energy, but that is the normal energy that a hunter has if he doesnt spend stats points on energy. Before a bh could run into strength massacre, they did have to care about health because they gained it dealing damage, and they where save about damage with shadown arts and the chance of block. Now its a bit hard to use one of this skills, you need a lot of energy, and you have to try to dont waste it for 4 turns and also try to dont lose it. There arent also a difference between the energy of a lvl 1 and and a lvl 40. A low lvl has between 500 and 600 (I dont remember) what it's just enough to use some skills at low levels, but not for high lvls. I guess the energy of a lvl 40 should be around 750 and 850, what isnt a lot. A bh with all this energy can use mark of blood (200), smoke (200), heal (190) and the rest of the energy (160-260) for one skill or cores. Energy skills will be more balanced: The problem of the energy is that it isnt enough, and if one skill gives you a lot of energy or takes a lot, it makes a huge difference. with all this energy, the game wouldnt be based on energy. And I think, classes wouldnt need all those energy skills. Back in delta bm and bh didnt need any skill for draining energy, and the reason was that they had the enough energy to play. The game will be better, because its more enjoyable for players having stronger damage, what is better than having a massacre, a supercharge or a berzeker lvl max? I also would be better if there wasnt a lot of energy skills, its my opinion, and to be honest not all classes should have the privilege of having influence in the energy. Just TM and CH are supposed to be related with energy. Static grenade can back to emp, or another skill. Energy parasyte, might be replaced with a skill that increase the damage deal with the gun (just like the old aim assist) that at max lvl can do +120 damage. With less skills draining energy I think there will be a bigger freedom with skills. You will be able to run into a build and be able to use your stronger skills. Now if you will be able to use your skills depends of your opponent, most of classes wont let you use a stronger skill, just tlm will let you use it without stealing your energy.
